After conflicts like the first Gulf-War and the fall of the "Iron Curtain" the U.S. armed forces as well as other western nations gained a lot off former Soviet equipment for evaluation and training purpose. Many of the still operable equipment is now deployed as OPFOR. You need the original MI-24V.zip file by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint.
