Fuel Flow/Cutoff Lever

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge- Fuel Flow On/Cutoff. This lever allows the starting procedure for some jets to be more realistic. When the lever is moved to ON, that replaces keypress CTRL+SHIFT+F4 (mixture rich). Moving the lever to OFF replaces keypress CTRL+SHIFT+F1 (mixture cutoff). For safety, one mouse clicks moves the lever to ON, but two mouse clicks are required to move it to OFF. Includes new Lear 45 panel modified for this gauge. By Glenn Copeland.

Digital Stop Watch

File Description:
This is a Digital Stopwatch for FS2004 which reads in Hours:Minutes:Seconds It has a Start/Stop function and a Reset function. The output is linked to the Simulator clock variable: If you pause the simulation the timer pauses. If you change the simulation rate the timer rate changes accordingly. If you stop the clock then the display remains visible at the stop time. If you re-start it continues counting from where you stopped. (There is no 'lap' function) Pressing RESET zeros the display and stops the clock. Created by Jim Cooper of Simshed (www.simshed.co.uk)

Pattern Gauge V2

File Description:
FS2004 only. This is a gauge in two parts. The display screen and the control bar can be installed in separate places on a panel and each sized to suit your needs. The gauge calculates the heading for all five pattern legs around an airport for both left and right turns. After the pilot enters the two-digit runway data, heading information will be displayed for any desired leg by pressing an appropriate button.

File Description:
FS2004 TWiD gauge (Track,Wind,Drift) versions 1 (corporate) and 2 (commercial/military). Both have five analog displays that show heading, course, track, drift, wind direction, and wind speed information. By keeping the Track cursor aligned with the Course cursor while flying, the course-diviating effect of wind drift will be eliminated. Radio Range System - Version 3 Adaptation for MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC-3A/C-47

File Description:
Complements the Radio Range System (rr_03.zip) developed by By Dave Bitzer, Alex Nicolson, Norman Hancock, Allan Greene and Charles Wood, which must be installed first. This simple gauge enables the Radio Range System to be used with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations' R4D-6/DC-3A/C-47 aircraft, by enabling the relevant switches on the Audio Panel. MAAM-SIM aircraft are available from www.maam.org/maam_sim.html. This gauge supersedes the previous uploads RR_MAAM.zip and RR_MAAM2.zip, both of which included errors. If you have previously installed either or both of these, don't worry; just overwrite the previously supplied gauge file with the one included here and check that your gauge entries are correct as shown in the README included in this package. Library managers: please discard my files RR_MAAM.zip and RR_MAAM2.zip from your archives, as both are flawed. Many users must have been flying in total confusion as a number of the signals were reversed. Perhaps, they thought it was their error not mine and were too embarrassed to highlight problems! Anyway, hopefully I have it right this time!

Drift Meter Version 2

File Description:
This gauge, for FS2004, updates the drift meter gauge, published on 19 Jan. 2005. It is easier to use, comes with a panel icon, and has improved graphics. It simulates the drift meters used in the 1940's, measuring the drift of an aircraft off its heading due to the wind. In the old days of aviation, navigators had quite a job in windy weather. An advantage of the drift meter is that it has nothing to do with wind direction or aircraft heading. The measured wind drift is used to correct the aircraft heading to maintain course.
