Adding ATC DIGIT Gauge - An Illustrated Tutorial. Adding this little gauge to the panel of your aircraft will allow you to respond to ATC options with your mouse - a very useful alternative to using the keyboard numbers. This brief tutorial shows how to add the ATC DIGIT Gauge by Nick Pike to the default Cessna 172 panel. While this is used to demonstrate the method, the concept can be used on virtually any panel. Setups for the default Cessna 172 and B737-400 are included. No programming knowledge is required and this package includes all of the required files. The tutorial has been compiled in .doc and .pdf formats. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location. FS2004 Gauge: Cockpit Commander. This 28-push button powerhouse will greatly simplify life in a busy cockpit. It uses a numeric pad to enter frequencies into Comm 1 and C2, Nav 1 and N2, and the ADF. It will set headings, course, altitude, VS, and IAS airspeed functions on the AP. Gauge contains an efficient layout for ATC responses for use during hectic IFR approaches because they are located on gauge by autopilot. Has K-key for quick "000" entry. FS2004 Pattern Gauge. This gauge calculates the heading for all five pattern legs around an airport for both left and right turns. After the pilot enters the two-digit runway data, heading information will be displayed for any desired leg by pressing an appropriate button. This gauge was the example used to illustrated a tutorial which shows how to make graphics for gauges. Part 1 of that file TutGG_P1.zip is available as a separate D/L. By Glenn Copeland.

File Description:
This is a diagnostic gauge, targeted primarily at gauge and panel authors. It writes all Key_Events issued in FS9 to a log file, thus allowing the detection of repeating Key_Events which interfere with normal panel operation. It will not identify the gauge issuing the repeating Key_Events, but by identifying the Key_Events themselves, it should make the gauge issuing them somewhat easier to locate. If you have a panel which does not allow the selection of a second engine or exit, or which exhibits improper autopilot operation, this gauge may help you discover why.
