F14D Afterburner

File Description:
FS9-FSX new afterburner effect for the F14D. This is the closest thing to the real thing in afterburners. If you're looking for eye candy for your F14D, then this is a must have Afterburner effect. The detail is there, the colors are there, the realism is there. The only thing missing is the feel and smell of the real thing. I spent along time to make this as real as possible, and I think I nailed it. This works on all the Hinson and Dino Cattaneo versions of the F14B and D models.

VTOL/Hover gauge for Fairey Rotodyne

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds new VTOL & Hover features to Kazunori Ito's Rotodyne. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FS2004 variables from an XML gauge. Requires FSUIPC (registered or unregistered, NOT included). Pattern Gauge

File Description:
FS2004 Pattern Gauge. This gauge calculates the heading for all five pattern legs around an airport for both left and right turns. After the pilot enters the two-digit runway data, heading information will be displayed for any desired leg by pressing an appropriate button. This gauge was the example used to illustrated a tutorial which shows how to make graphics for gauges. Part 1 of that file TutGG_P1.zip is available as a separate D/L. By Glenn Copeland.

AI Radar, Traffic Collision Avoidance System

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: AI Radar, Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS). This gauge has five ranges from 1 NM to 30 NM. It displays all moving aircraft in green within the selected range. A switch will allow static aircraft to also be displayed in white when desired. Traffic Advisory (TA) aircraft are displayed in yellow, Resolution Advisory (RA) aircraft are shown in red. AI aircraft have their relative altitudes pinned to each aircraft symbol. Bearing to an aircraft can be obtained using the optional 360-degree sweep cursor. For panel or separate window installation. Pushback/Ground Speed (version 1.1)

File Description:
Version 1.1 update to my combination gauge designed for stock and add-on aircraft. It adds a flexible pushback/ground speed control gauge with complete speed and directional controls for pushback and taxi operations. It also has an aircraft nformation gauge that shows gross, payload, zero-fuel and fuel weights in lbs or kg, OAT and OAP, and a convenient electrical circuit control panel used when add-ons do not have these circuits readily available. Requires FSUIPC 3.x (does not require registered version). See included README.TXT and PDF documentation for a list of fixes/features.

RwyInfo 2 Data Update Version 2

File Description:
The purpose of this download is to allow you to update the data used by Ernie Alston's Runway Info gauge (RwyInfo version 2.0, available from http://www.fsbuild.com/rwyinfo/). This is an excellent little gauge that allows you to retrieve, through a gauge on your panel, information for all the runways at an airport (selected by ICAO code), and optionally automatically load frequency and course for an ILS into your NAV1 radio and MCP. However the usefulness of the gauge is somewhat restricted by the fact that it comes with a text database of 'info' to be displayed, and does not include any method for updating this info. This is Version 2 of this utility - the first version was uploaded a couple of weeks ago. The first version is not required to use this version. This version fixes some problems with the display of new airports and runs much faster than the original version.

Groundhandling gauges, V3.2

File Description:
This archive contains version 3.2 of my "groundhandling" gauges, and work for both FS2002 AND FS2004. Like: automated pushback with conversation sounds, a Taxispeed controller using throttle AND brake settings, an arming switch that activates Taxispeed after a landing (incl. setting flaps, spoilers, autobrakes Off), Brakes sound, etc.... It can be added to any FS2002/FS2004 aircraft panel, including aircraft with Magneto-based engines (which was a major problem in the previous versions). Fully documented, including extensive installation and upgrade instructions. It's a complete package (including a solution for playing "xml sounds" in FS2004) in one .cab file, and does not require any other addons, like FSsound or FSUIPC. V3.2 solves 2 issues with using the Brakes. See included file "Upgrade V3.1 to V3.2 . txt".
