PMDG SIDSTARS Update for KLAX Los Angeles Intl

File Description:
Cycle 0603 PMDG SIDSTAR file by Terry Yingling revised 3/20/2006 by Dan Downs for KLAX Los Angeles Intl. All SID, STAR and ILS procedures edited as required to comply with current charts. Added STAR runway specific routing for CIVIT5 MITTS2 PDZ4 SEAVU1 & YENNI1 as transitions to the IAPs for ILS 24L/R 25L/R. Added route for SADDE6 to IAP for ILS24R. Added departure route from runways with vectors command for SIDs as required to eliminate discontinuities. Added LAXX5 SID with vectors command as required. All procedures originally distributed in Cycle 0603, including those not modified, are included in this file.

PMDG SIDSTARS Update for KHOU Houston William P Hobby

File Description:
Cycle 0603 PMDG SIDSTAR file by Terry Yingling revised 3/22/2006 by Dan Downs for KHOU Houston William P Hobby. The controllers at Houston are creative. There is a BLUBELL STAR that goes over the Bluebell Ice Cream creamry, with fixes at COWZZ and SNDAY. Houston Texan football fans are aware thay they have a new COACH, and are hoping for more TCHDN and fewer FMBLE from their QTRBK named CARRR. Basketball fans cheer for the ROKIT team, and love it when they SSLAM DUUNK. All SID, STAR and ILS procedures edited as required to comply with current charts. SIDS have initial tracks off of runway and vectors command to eliminate discontinuities. Constraints added to BLUBL2 DAS6 HOAGI1 LISSE6 MHF1(change MEAs to STAR constraints), DAS6 HOAGI1 RIICE1 ROKIT7 STAR routes for KHOU added, adjusted transition routes between BILEE and RIICE to conform with STAR instructions. Added TEXXN3.12R and TEXXN3.04 to provide direct RNAV to IAFs for rwys 12R/4 per note on chart. Minor adjustments to ILS 4/12R/30L, including set hard constraint at GS intercept.

Lufthansa Flight LH 410 from Munich (EDDM) to New York (KJFK)

File Description:
The file package contains the flight plan and flight files for the Lufthansa flight LH 410 from Munich to New York JFK. No add-ons (scenery, aircraft) required! The flight files contain the real weather conditions for 26.02.2005, including winds aloft. Pictures with live weather charts of this date are included, as well as a comprehensive description and a flight report in English and German language with nice screenshots. Second flight file starting 230 miles from destination, for those who only want to enjoy the arrival at JFK with the impressive arrival route alongside Manhattan.

British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines - Vancouver to Sydney - 1948

File Description:
British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines operated the first Australian trans-Pacific service from 1946 until 1954, when the airline ceased operations and QANTAS took over this route to North America. Between September 1946 and April 1948, BCPA leased four DC-4 aircraft and the crews to man them from Australian National Airways (ANA) and in April 1948 they (BCPA) commenced operations using their own equipment and staff. This Flight recreates a return journey in September 1948, from Vancouver to Sydney, via the staging points at San Francisco, Honolulu, Canton Island and Nadi (Fiji). A Word document is included which contains information relating to the history of BCPA and the flight itself.

UPDATE! to bcpa1948.zip - BCPA Vancouver to Sydney, 1948

File Description:
BCPA1948.ZIP refers. This update will provide you with some relevant scenery items on Canton Island and will also place the *two* mid-ocean NDB’s between Honolulu and San Francisco that actually existed back then....not the single unit provided in the original upload. The Flight Plan and Saved Flight state have been updated to suit and new PLN, WX and FLT files are included. Please read the enclosed DOC file for complete installation instructions and necessary information and please remember that you should download and install Jens Kristensen's DC-4 (dc4_v10.zip) and Wayne Tudor's BCPA livery (bcpa_dc4.zip) before running this flight.

UAL Flight 928

File Description:
This is a reenactment for the Boeing B777-200 United Airlines flight 928 from Chicago KORD to Heathrow EGLL. NOTE: This file is aimed at users of the PSS B777 ONLY!!! Any 777 user can use this file, but I adjusted the loadouts to fit the LR, since the bird in the movie is NOT an LR model, so weights and fuel were different. I will also be publishing other reenactments for Just Planes and ITVV videos. If you like this, you can also check out my Leisure 767 reenactment from the wonderful ITVV video, also here on AVSIM. Simply search for "Dittmar" to see my works. Enjoy! The thumbnail featured here is copyright by Just Planes. Frigate Bird II - The Return Flight

File Description:
By 1951 the final ocean to be traversed for air travel was the South Pacific between Australia and South America. On 13 March 1951 Cpt. P.G. Taylor set off from the flying boat base at Rose Bay in Sydney with a crew of four and arrived in Valparaiso on 26th. March. (see fbird_51.zip for this outward flight). The return flight - which is represented by this file - was made on 4th. April 1951 with the Frigate Bird II arriving home to Sydney on 21st. April. The aircraft was subsequently presented to Captain Taylor by the then Prime Minister, Sir Robert Menzies, in recognition of the first air-crossing of the South Pacific Ocean and other pioneering flights.

Imperial Airways - Bristol to Lisbon - Outbreak of War, 1939

An Imperial Airways flight from Bristol to Lisbon, a mere matter of days after Britain declares war on Germany. Please read the enclosed DOC file for full information regarding the flight and installation. Jens B. Kristensen's beautiful de havilland DH-91 "Albatross" is used in this Flight. Ansett Flying Boat Services - Rose Bay to Hayman Island - 1962

File Description:
An historic Flight which utilises the Short Sandringham created by Jens Kristensen, this time in the 1970's livery of Ansett Flying Boat Services. A special set of textures has been created specifically for the Ansett version and is included with this package, together with instructions on its simple installation. Ansett Flying Boat Services ran scheduled flights between Rose Bay and Hayman Island, in the Whitsunday Island area of Queenslands Great Barrier Reef. These flights usually departed Rose Bay on a Sunday morning, with the trip taking about five-and-a-half hours. Holiday-makers arrived at their destination with a complete week ahead of them and returning passengers were back back in Sydney on Sunday evening, ready for work the next day! Full installation instructions are included.

Ansett Flying Boat Services - Rose Bay to Lake Eucumbene, Snowy Mts. - 1971

File Description:
An historic Flight which utilises the Short Sandringham created by Jens Kristensen, this time in the 1970's livery of Ansett Flying Boat Services. A special set of textures has been created specifically for the Ansett version and is included with this package, together with instructions on its simple installation. As well as the few scheduled flights operated by Ansett to Hayman and Lord Howe Islands, Ansett also operated charter flights, usually for special-interest groups. One that I recall was to Lake Eucumbene, in the Snowy Mountains, for the Australian Aviation Historical Society and it is that flight which is reproduced here. Full installation instructions are included.
