Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Part 7) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Part 7). The B-52 first flew in 1952, the last one was built in 1961, and there are still over 90 of the original 744 airframes either in front-line service or in a ready-reserve status. With extensive avionics upgrades starting this year, the USAF plans on using the B-52s until 2045, 93 years after first flight. The aircraft has an impressive resume, having served in five shooting wars and was the backbone of Strategic Air Command's nuclear deterrent air component during almost forty years of Cold War service.

Jake Burrus started this AI traffic model a couple of years ago, and I was honoured to pick up the project and get it across the finish line, with no small amount of help from Mike MacIntyre, as usual. This is a 7-LOD AI traffic model representing the Stratofortress in all of its operational service. This is part 7, showcasing the middle-period B-52H from 1974 to 1986, covering progressive EVS and ECM upgrades, and including a total of 44 repaints. Also included are optional models for VFR traffic use. Aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Mike Pearson, master textures and repaints by Mike Pearson, flight dynamics by Mike MacIntyre. Please read the extensive documentation contained in the file.

Convair F-106 Delta Dart Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Convair F-106 Delta Dart. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for the last of the Century Series fighter aircraft, one of the backbones of Air Defense Command and Air National Guard squadrons from the late-1950s to late-1980s. The "Six" first flew in 1956, and over 300 of these aircraft served as strategic interceptors during the height of the Cold War. Late examples served until 1988, over thirty years after its introduction; and many were expended as target drones on live fire ranges. Additionally, the Six, in a last hurrah of sorts, was the dedicated chase aircraft for the B-1 bomber test flights, because of its speed, and low-cost as a "has-been" aircraft. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package is a complete representation of the F-106 through its entire career, in the service of the USAF as well as NASA. Models included are F-106A with early/late canopy, F-106B, and QF-106A/B manned and un-manned drones, with a total of 13 models and 70 repaints, to include over 30 individual squadron schemes. Original aircraft model, master textures, and all release repaints by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. PLEASE READ THE DOCUMENTATION FOR RESEARCH DISCLAIMERS.

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Dassault Mirage IIIR (Armee de l'Air). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for Marcel Dassault's signature design of military jet history. Going into production in 1959, this aircraft, in late form, is still in service with several air forces to this day. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this wonderful aircraft in the flightsim world. This package represents the original Mirage IIIR production model in the service of the Armee de l'Air; with 4 models and 12 repaints. Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.
