Continuing our practice of improving airfields Microsoft have seen fit to provide little or no facilities at. Scottish VA the MATVA Group present Afcad2 files for those airfields MATVA utilise. These Afcads are designed for FS2004 default airfields only. File Description:
Based on the googlemaps image, this AF2 file incorporates a dual mode of ai operation so that the civilian traffic avoids the military aprons, and also back-tracks to make the most of the runway. Civil aircraft taxiing is mostly along the runways as per real life procedure.

Double Eagle II (KAEG) AFCAD Update

File Description:
This airport is currently under expansion. This will take several years to complete. Recently some work was completed; an extension of Taxiway Alpha to connect it to Bravo, the addition of Taxiway Charlie that connects Runway 17/35 at its mid point to Runway 04/22, and Taxiway Alpha extension that connects Runway 02/22 to the ramp from its mid point. Runway 17/35 also had an overrun extension of 1000 ft in preparation of an official extension of that runway to 11,500 ft later. From Paul Bing's file of the whole airport real_kaeg_v1.zip

AFCAD ACIVATING RWY 02/20 AT EBBR

File Description:
MADE FOR: Aerosoft Mega Airport Brussels. This AFCAD activates RWY 02/20 in addition to 07L/25R and 07R/25L. It's done by using the so called STAR-technique.(Jim Vile and other gurus). The RWYs will work in two groups; one at a time; Group 1: RWY 20-(TO and LA); RWY 25R-(TO); RWY 25L-(LA) Group 2: RWY 02-LA); RWY 25R-(TO); RWY 25L-(TO) Hope this will make the traffic flow better and that you will experiece some challenging crosswind landings!
