VARIG Boeing 737-341 (PP-VOE)

File Description:
VARIG B.737-341 PP-VOE C/N 24276-1645 Another of the original models B.737-341 builded by Boeing for VARIG(17 exemplaires builded). The 341 is the logic sucessor of the 241, the series 200 model,still in service for some routes. VARIG fleet had differents variant of the Boeing 737'(B.737-2C3Adv,B.737-241,B.737-2K9,B.737-2Q8,B.737-219,B.737-33A,B.737-36N,B.737-3K9,B.737-341,B.737-3Q8,B.737-4YO,etc)and the planes are the workhorse of the route systeme of the airline.The main technical center is located a Rio de Janeiro Antonio Carlos Jobim(Galeao)with the most big hangar maintenance in South America. Main hubs are Sao Paulo Guarulhos, Rio de Janeiro A.C.Jobim(Galeao),Porto Alegre Salgado Fihlo.I have included a serie of 90 Flights to the main national and international destinations,all served with 737 and the timetable and numbers flights are the rights one of this year 2004. Destinations are revised and actualised like in the reality(Curitiba,Porto Alegre, Ponte aereo=Rio Santos Dumont-Sao Paulo Congonhas,Foz do Iguazú,Manaus,Natal,Recife,Salvador,La Paz,Cordoba,etc. Many flights are corrected to be acomplished with the 737 and not the Douglas DC-10(out of service by VARIG long time ago and remplaced with the MD-11,this last also to be tasked in the future to fly only cargo). Today only two DC-10 fly cargo services with VARIG Logistica. Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the 737-300 type(17-04-04).

Lockheed VC-121A Constellation 'Columbine II'

File Description:
FS2004 Lockheed VC-121A Constellation 'Columbine II'. The Lockheed C-121A Constellation is the military transport version of the L-749A Constellation. Delivered on 22 November 1948, this particular aircraft was soon converted to VC-121A VIP-transport. From November 1952 till November 1954 this was the personal transport of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1952, President Eisenhower was flying to Florida. The Presidential plane was named 'Columbine II' (after the official flower of Colorado, the First Lady’s home state), but it was identified to flight controllers as “Air Force 610” (from its tail number 48-610). However, flying in the same general region was Eastern Airlines Flight 610. The Eastern Airlines pilot overheard a conversation between flight controllers and the President’s plane, and for a moment thought the references to flight “610” were meant for him. Although nothing untoward happened, the government realized that the confusion could have been tragic. Since then, any Air Force aircraft with the President on board has been referred to as “Air Force One.” Thus, the 'Columbine II' was the first aircraft to be distinguished with this designation, and she served President Eisenhower for several years in this role. This repaint is a much improved version of the one issued in 2006. It has not been tested for the FSX version of Abacus' Constallation but probably will function there as well. These are textures only. You will require Francisco Sánchez-Castañer's great payware Lockheed L-749 Constellation, which can be obtained from Abacus' Platinum Collection (see http://www.abacuspub.com/default.html). Col. William G. Draper and Pilot Maj. William W. Thomas. This repaint has been tested in FS2004 only. However, it should be working in FSX also. You will require Team 749's (Manfred Jahn and Co) Lockheed L-749 Constellation package (LOCKHEED749.ZIP), the folder Lockheed_L749_0 (twin stack exhausts). Also required Team 749's Lockheed L-749 Constellation models update (749_MODELS_UPDATE.ZIP). TAROM Boeing 737-38J (YR-BGC) 'Constanta' for Traffic 2004

File Description:
TAROM B.737-38J YR-BGC C/N 27181-2662"Constanta". This is my new serie of TAROM for the Just Flight Traffic 2004. YR-BGC"Constanta" is one of the four type B.737-38J operated by TAROM, the Fifth plane (YR-BGD) is operated as Presidential plane and the Government of Romania. TAROM((Transporturile Aeriene Romane) is the official airline of Romania and was founded after the war in 1946 as Transporturi Aeriene Romana Sovietica (TARS) with a fleet of Lisunov Li-2.The airline had operated soviet jet types longtime (Ilyushin IL-62, IL-18, Tu-154´s)but after the restructuration in the early 90´s is today composed with 6 ATR-42-300 and 9 B.737-300 and 700 series(models B.737-38J,B.737-78J and one B.737-36Q). All 707´s and soviet types are now stored and out of service.The two A310(introduced in 1992)and tasked to flight the New York services or Charter flights in the summer time are now in reserve and also out of service or saled the fleet of ROMBAC 1-11(BAC 1-11 build under licence by Romaero.The main hub of TAROM is located at Otopeni Intl.airport(Bucarest). TAROM served national destinations(Cluj,Constanta,Tirgu Mures,Timisoara,Satu Mare,Oradea,Iasi,etc)and International destinations(Wien,Frankfurt,Munchen,Brussels,Paris CDG,London HTR,Rome FCO, Budapest,Athens,Thesaloniki,Sofia,Chisinau,Madrid,Larnaca,Tel Aviv,Amman,Beirut,Cairo,Istanbul,Amman) I have included a serie of 64 TAROM flights, all served with the B.737-300´s and ATR42-500's. Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the 737-300 type(23-04-04).

Louisiana State Police Texture Updates Bell/Textron 430

File Description:
FS2004 Bell/Textron 430 Helicopter Louisiana State Police Updates This package contains 2 revised texture sets for: N810SP & N918SP which are based here in Baton Rouge. These fixes add the gold stripe on the tail and reflect the readjusted bottom gold cheat stripe and a few more small tweaks that make the textures more accurate. There is a well known member of the FS Community that is also painting up more LSP Bell430s.I believe that his will feature 430s from LSP Troop I,B and C. Giving you all more N#'s to fly based on your preference of which Troop you want to fly for.So keep an eye out for more LSP Bell 430s in the near future!! As always....Enjoy!! **P.S.*** I am finishing up on a custom scenery to compliment these repaints. The scenery will feature a large photoreal terrain area of the Independence Park area here in Baton Rouge wich houses on its grounds the following: Louisiana State Police Headquarters,Louisiana Statepolice Training acadamy,various State Gov't offices such as Dept. of Motor Vehicles,Louisiana State Office of Emergency Managment,State fire Marshals Offices,e.t.c..... The main Helipad is set up as a runway..rwys 9-27 which feature their own ILS systems with outermarkers,an NDB,Fictioal Airport Designation of 1LSP.Trees,Military Landing Zones,resturants,minmalls,gas stations along the perimeter,the main Fire House/Fire Station for that area.the Main branch of the Public Library and the big school bus transfer area on the west side.Street lights along the roadways,and much more.With minimal impact of FPS. This will be a great add-on tool for the real LSP and AIr Med pilots who fly into this place everyday.Now you guys/gals can practice approaches in inclement weather conditions without fear of ruining a 5 million dollar chopper,all the while honing your IMC skills. This scenery will integrate seemlessly with the upcoming release of KBTR v2. The screenshots in this archive are from KBTRv2 Beta and the 1LSP beta sceneries!!
