Hawkair Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair

File Description:
These textures represent Aviation Traders' ATL.98 Carvair #20 C-GAAH as she looked like when operated by Hawkair Aviation Services Ltd. in Terrace, British Columbia, Canada. Hawkair bought the aircraft in May 1997. For two years C-GAAH's main task was transporting gold ore from a mine near the air strip of Bronson Creek, BC, to Wrangell, AK, until the mine shut down. After having been stored for three years she was sold as N898AT to Brooks Air Fuel at Fairbanks, AK, where she still soldiers on. These are textures only. You will require Jon Walton's freeware Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair (jwat98.zip or jwat98_2k2.zip). Repaint, based on Jon Walton's original textures, by Maarten Brouwer.

Commercial Air Services (Comair South Africa) Cessna 140

File Description: c/n 8387. Purchased in terms of its Franchise agreement with Cessna. It arrived at Rand Airport on 8 September 1946 and was registered as ZS-BED. It was operated by the Comair Flying School at Rand Airport until sold in October 1947. c/n 14502. Delivered in 1948 and registered as ZS-BFY. Used in the Israel Air Force Training School from October 1948 to August 1950. Sent to Commercial Air Services (Natal) in March 1954 and used on the now infrequent Durban to Margate scheduled service. This service eventually stopped after August 1955. Eventually sold in mid 1956. These are texture files only for the Cessna 140 (ces140.zip) by Brian Gladden. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

PLUNA Douglas DC-3(C-47A-10-DL)CX-AQC,C/N 9226.Delivered to the USAAF Mar 15, 1943 as 42-23364.Stored Feb 07, 1946 and To RFC Jun 25.To civil registry as NC79023 (R W Duff, Miami, FL.).With PLUNA from Nov 18, 1955.CX-AQC was one of the 11 operated by PLUNA from the latter 40s.Transfered to Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya the 19/05/71,operated as FAU-523 and retired the 16-10-86. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.

File Description: FS2004/FSX South African Airways Vickers Viscount 813. The first of eight Vickers Viscount 813 turbo-prop airliners was delivered to South African Airways in October 1958. Except for one Viscount which was lost in an accident, all seven others were sold to British Midland Airways in late 1971. ZS-CDT 'Blesbok' (c/n 346) was sold to BMA as G-AZLP. Its final owner/operator was North East Aircraft Museum. ZS-CDU 'Bosbok' (c/n 347) was sold to BMA as G-AZLR. Its final owner/operator was BMA - British Midland Airways. Textures Only. Royal Hellenic Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Collection

File Description:
This package includes all the Hellenic Spitfires expect the Spitfire pr Mk.XI witch appeared in one unit and pr Mk.XIII in three units. You can fly the spitfire mk.Vb/c, Spitfire mk.IXe LF/HF and Spitfire Mk.XVIe LF. Greece in 9/23/1938 ordered 12 Spitfires and 12 Anson. During the June of 1939 it was signed the order of 24 Spitfires which cost 9335 pounds each. When Hitler attacked to Poland, England used all the aircrafts that were under construction and of course the Greek were some of them. On 10/12/1943, the 336th Olympus Squadron received the first Spitfire and followed the 335th Tiger Squadron. The Spitfire mk.Vb/c replaced the Hurricane mk.IIb/c. When the two greek Squadrons were at North Africa, their Spitfires wore the , but when they moved to Italy, their Spitfires change to . The formal receival of them from Greece took place at Araxos AB LGRX on 11-14-1944. The war hadn’t finished yet and Hellas wasn’t free, so the Spitfires were used in battles for Milos’ and Crete‘s freedom. In the end of 1945, RHAF, now HAF, stoped being depended on RAF and the mk.Vb/c were given to Greece on 4/25/1946. In January of 1947 were delivered the Spitfires mk.IXe LF and HF (Low Flying and High Flying). The mk.Vb/c now were used in the new pilots’ training and a new Squadron was created because of the large number of the mk.IX. The name of the new Squadron was 337th Phantom Squadron . On the February of 1949, were delivered the new Spitfires mk.XVIe LF. At the end of their careers, the mk.IX and mk.XVI were used as advanced training aircrafts. USAF PAFB T-41

File Description:
These textures are for Henry Tomkiewicz's excellent payware C-172 Skyhawk. I have painted all five of Peterson AFB's T-41's, used by the Aero club for flight training. Included registrations: N7870N, N7874N, N7879N, N7899N, N7905N. Very basic flightplans are also included to have the aircraft show up at KCOS.
