| Sabena (Circa 1960) Douglas DC-6 |

The first European operator of the Douglas DC-6 was the Belgian airline Sabena. The first of five DC-6s, which was registered OO-AWA (see Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-6 (dc6_v20.zip), was delivered on 15 July 1947. It was introduced on the Brussels-New York service in August 1947. Of course the DC-6s also operated on the Brussels-Leopoldville (now Kinshasa) route, the "lifeline" to the former Belgian colony Congo. From 1953 on they were joined by nine slightly larger DC-6Bs and one DC-6A. Except for OO-AWB which crashed in 1955, the "short" DC-6 had a remarkably long career with Sabena, incl. being leased to Air Congo. The last example was sold in 1965. Original textures by Jens B. Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints.
This texture represents "Ruby's Raiders" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.
"Ruby's Raiders" was named after Cpl Ruby Newell, a WAAC serving in the UK. She was the winner of a WAAC beauty contest and her likeness was painted on the plane by Cpl Ploss of the 385th. Assigned to the 550th Squadron. This aircraft returned to the USA.

LAN Airlines, S.A. was formerly known as LAN Chile and is based Santiago, Chile with its main hub at Arturo Merino BenÃtez International Airport (SCEL) in Santiago. It also operates hubs in Lima, Peru Buenos Aires, Argentina Miami, Florida USA and Quito and Guayaquil Ecuador. LAN Airlines comprises LAN Chile, LAN Argentina, LAN Peru, LAN Ecuador and LAN Express.
I delayed the release of this aircraft after seeing the recent release by Dave Wilkins of high-quality LAN Airlines AI Aircraft using the EvolveAI models. After downloading and installing them myself, I thought it would be a nice complement if the colors of this A320 matched the colors of David's LAN Airlines AI A320's, A319's and A318. I think the result is quite nice and hope you agree.
This full installation package includes the Project Airbus A320 IAE V2 model and air files, a modified FDE (with permission from Peter Binamira of Project Airbus), A320 lighting enhancements and 32-bit textures. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Install.txt for installation details.

Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42881/29) as the personal aircraft of President Harry S. Truman. It was named 'The Independence' after President Truman's home town in Missouri. The aircraft was delivered on 1 July 1947 and served from 4 July 1947 on as a presidential aircraft till 1953 when Gen. Dwight Eisenhower became President of the USA. It seems that the rather special paint job was based on an idea by President Truman himself. 46-0505 served on as a general VIP transport till 1966 when it was donated to the Smithonian Institute for preservation. It is on loan to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. 'The Independence' could accommodate for 24 day or 12 sleeper passengers (in the main cabin). It had a luxurious State Room aft of the passenger door. Usually there was a crew of eight. It is featured here in its original tan, blue and metal livery. You will require Jens B. Zambian Airways (callsign Mines) began as Mines Air Services Limited (MAS) and was incorporated in 1948 as a subsidiary of Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM). As part of the process of privatization of the mines, MAS was disposed of by the Government of Zambia on 28 April 1998. Later that year, MAS then purchased two new B1900D's from Raytheon Credit Corporation (RCC). The company began operating these two aircraft under its current name of Zambian Airways. Zambian then acquired 2 Boeing 737-244's from Safair in October of 2006. This is one of those 2 737-244's, bearing registration 9J-JOY.
If you want to light up your 'mouse' at night, I recommend Matthew Lue's Tinmouse II lighting effects (AVSIM DLID 89742). This is a textures only package; you must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv v2 base package and updates available here at AVSIM (tinmouse_ii_v1_25.zip). The textures in this repaint are 32-bit with no mips.

Maddog 2008 in China Northern Airlines B-2126 Repaint. You have to install payware LSH maddog 2008 first. The company was one of the six major airlines in mainland China which operated Airbus A300, MD-80/90 and Airbus A321, serving domestic routes as well as to Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and North Korea. On May 7, 2002, exactly 10 years ago, China Northern Airlines Flight 6136(Reg.B-2138) was flying from Beijing to Dalian when the pilot reported fire on board. Downside residents thousands of people and a large Petroleum Refinery. The captain noticed the situation and minutes later the plane crashed into the bay, avoiding injuries on the ground. Later, they found a passenger purchased 7 air insurance policies of this flight and investigation on the wreckage showed a quantity of gasoline near his seat. The conclusion is a passenger committed suicide and delibrately set the plane on fire. After the crash, China Northern Airlines merged with China Southern Airlines and became one of the largest airlines serving mainland China.

Presenting the SkySpirit2012 Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen Regional Jet.
This package contains the two most recent Delta Air Lines liveries: the new 2007 livery and the 2000 "Wavy Gravy" scheme. While Delta's regional partners do not fly the CRJ-1000, these are theoretical representations.
The model features exterior model, dynamic wing flex with XML coding, wing views, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent XML landing gear suspension, trim animation, highly realistic Opening Passenger Door L1 (integrated Airstair door) and opening forward and aft baggage holds (opened by the included POSKY Utility Panel), rolling wheels and extremely detailed animated landing gears with photorealistic textures, XML coded nose gear steering with steering lock at high rolling speed, animated thrust reversers, modeled built-in Lektro Pushback Tug (controlled by POSKY Utility Panel) and highly-detailed and accurate, 32bit day and night textures and realistic lighting effects.
