Royal Hellenic Air Force, Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb

File Description:
The Spitfire MK V was one of the best known marks, powered by the Merlin 46 of 1440 hp. It served from the Summer of 1941 on, and was the first Spitfire to serve overseas.The trop was modified to operate in dusty and adverse environments such as North Africa. The Royal Hellenic Air Force received 56 Spitfires Mk Vb/MkVc from R.A.F., during January of 1944. These planes were assigned to 335th and 336th Fighter Squadron R.H.A.F.used these Mk Vbs until 1953. 2 Textures sets (1944 camo and 1948 natural metal, textures only) for payware 'Sky Unlimited Spitfire Mk V'. Italian Air Force Lockeed P-38 / F-5E

File Description:
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was one of the most prominent fighters throughout WWII in both major theaters of operation. The L was also the only series to be produced under contract by a different manufacturer than Lockheed. In all, nearly 4,000 P-38L's were made, making it the most numerous variant. Many of these were converted to F-5 Photo Lightnings. The Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) received from U.S.A.A.F., after the war's end, several used P-38 in various version (L / J / F-5), but many aircrafts were bought as 'metal' from U.S.A.A.F's scraps by A.M.I. and 'heroically' restored in flight condition by Italian technicians. Textures only for a P-38 / F-5E, in 'A.M.I. 3rd Stormo' livery for payware 'Sky Unlimited Lockheed Aircraft P38 Vol.1'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

Royal Hellenic Air Force, Curtiss SB2C-5 'Helldiver'

File Description:
The Curtiss SB2C replaced the Douglas SBD in Nov of 1943, not well received by most Naval Dive Bomber pilots who didn't think it was a fitting replacement for the sturdy reliable and well-liked SBD. It was called the "Son of a Bitch 2nd Class ", "The Beast" and the "Big Assed Bird". E.B.A. (ÅëëçíéêÞ ÂáóéëéêÞ Áåñïðïñßá / Royal Hellenic Air Force) received more than 37 SB2C-5 since spring of 1949 and used them until the end of the Civil War against communist rebel troops. The last Hellenic "Helldiver" was retired during 1952. Texture set only for an aircraft belonged to 336th Bomber Sqdn. (M.E.B.) of the Royal Hellenic Air Force (E.B.A.) during 1949/50.These textures require the new and beautiful FREEWARE FS9 Curtiss SB2C-4 HELLDIVER by Wolfang 'Wolfi' Faber downloadable at http://www.sim-outhouse.com.
