In August of 2006, I released a repaint of Arik Air's first CRJ-900 in the Project Opensky model, still bearing the Canadian registration number. Well, it's been a few years and Arik Air has a fleet of 4 CRJ9's in service. This is registration 5N-JEB and bears the name "PATRICK".
This release of the Arik Air CRJ9 is a very detailed repaint with custom textures. Logos are all hand-painted. All windows are custom, hand-painted, 3D with window shades. The night textures are custom as well. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install; Opensky CRJ-900 model and air files included. Uses Project Opensky CRJ panel and default Lear45 sounds. (This is a reupload of a work from October 2009 that was lost as a result of the AVSIM site compromise.)

PROJECT Fokker Jetline repaints for the F28 aircraft Mk1000 model. Here Canadian Regional "Proud Wings" paint (C-GTIZ). In January 1991, Canadian Regional Airlines was formed as a holding company to hold and manage Canadian Airlines Corporation regional airline interests. At that time Canadian Airlines Corporation acquired 100% of both of Time Air and Ontario Express as well as 70% of Inter-Canadien. In April 1993, Canadian Regional Airlines brought the operations of Time Air and Ontario Express together to operate as Canadian Regional Airlines. The two carriers were legally amalgamated in July 1998 and by then, Inter-Canadien had become a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Regional Airlines. Canadian Regional Airlines was then the largest regional carrier in Canada. In September 1998, Canadian Regional sold Inter-Canadien. Canadian Regional was integrated into the Air Canada family during the year 2000. | Air Ceylon, Lockheed L-749A Constellation, 1956-1958 |

Air Ceylon was formed in 1947 by the government of the newly independent Republic of Ceylon (nowadays Sri Lanka). That same year three Lockheed L-749 Constellations were ordered for the connection Colombo-London. The order for the Connies lapsed and in 1949 Air Ceylon started a service operating Douglas DC-4s leased from Australian National Airways (ANA), who owned 49% of the shares (the other 51% were owned by the government of Ceylon). However, fierce competition from BOAC's DH-104 Comet 1 and TWA's L-749 Constellation forced Air Ceylon to close the London connection in 1953. In 1955 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines took over the shares from ANA. From 7 February 1956 till 1 November 1958 Air Ceylon leased KLM's L-749A Constellation PH-LDP for its new, weekly connection Colombo-(Bombay)-Karachi-Bahrain-Cairo-Rome-London-Amsterdam. For a limited period this route was extended from Colombo to Bangkok. PH-LDP was sprayed in a very pretty, exotic livery and received the name 'Mahadevi', its previous name having been 'Rotterdam'. In November 1958 PH-LDP was superseded by KLM's L-1049G Super Constellation PH-LKA/4R-ACH which also received a full Air Ceylon livery. On 3 November 1958 PH-LDP was written from use at Schiphol (Amsterdam) and has been scrapped sometime in 1962.
These are textures only. You will require Team 749's (Manfred Jahn & Co) Lockheed L-749 Constellation Basic Pack (lockheed749.zip), the folder Lockheed_L749_1 (twin stack exhausts). Also required Team 749's Lockheed L-749 Constellation Models Update (749_models_update.zip). Included mdl's custom made by Manfred Jahn. Repaints (based on Manfred Jahn's textures) by Maarten Brouwer.
