Aeroflot, Russian Airlines is the flag carrier and largest airline of the Russian Federation. The carrier operates domestic and international passenger services, mainly from its hub at Sheremetyevo International Airport. Aeroflot is one of the oldest airlines in the world, tracing its history back to 1923. During the Soviet era, Aeroflot was the Soviet national airline and the largest airline in the world. Following the dissolution of the USSR, the carrier has been transformed from a state-run enterprise into a semi-privatised company which ranked 19th most profitable in the world in 2007. Aeroflot is still considered the de facto national airline of Russia.
Aeroflot livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-214(WL) model (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. Regarded as the best Italian aircraft of World War II together with the Fiat G-55 Centauro,the Macchi-Castoldi C.205 proved to be extremely effective in action, destroying a large number of Allied bombers and capable of successfully clashing on equal terms with such renowned fighters as the North American P-51D Mustang.Although the C.205 was able to match the best Allied opponents both in speed and maneuverability,it was introduced late during the conflict.Moreover,due to the poor Italian industrial capability of the time,only a small production run was delivered to combat units before the end of the war.Famous C.205 pilots are Italy's highest scoring ace Adriano Visconti and the top scoring C.205 Sergente Maggiore pilota (Sargeant Major pilot) Luigi Gorrini.To date,there's still debate about
Gorrini's score,since Regia Aeronautica preferred crediting units over individual combat achievements.
Gorrini's official aerial combat score is 19 victories,but,according to his memories,he achieved 7 more during his service with Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana (A.N.R.), flying a Macchi C.205. These victories did not enter his officiall tally due to political reasons,since the A.N.R. fought by the side of the German Luftwaffe after the Italian September 8th,1943 armistice.These bring his total tally to 26 victories,making him the top scoring Italian fighter ace of WWII.For his combat record with the A.N.R he was awarded twice by the Luftwaffe with the Iron Cross First and Second Class.Luigi Gorrini was also awarded for his actions,after the end of the war,with the highest Italian military decoration,the "Medaglia d'Oro al Valor Militare" (M.O.V.M.,Gold Medal for Military Valour).Last surviving Italian fighter pilot of WWII,he died recently at the age of 97 and this repaint is dedicated to his memory.

Finally abit more about demise of Air21 and N498US. At the beginning of 1997, the
small US domestic airline Air 21 ceased its activities. Air 21 was active from
December 1995 with a network of scheduled air services linking its base in Fresno,
CA, with Denver, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles using a fleet of three
Fokker F28 4000s leased from US Air.

Here are four repaints of Vistaliners fantastic 727-200 ADV. Thanks for such a incredible aircraft that is detailed and easy on almost ANY computer. To Eric Cantu for an easy to use paint kit (I used only the standard paint program.)
This download includes four models - Two represent a sampling of Falcon Air Express'es 8 727-200s (The Lillian and the Patricia) The unique black and silver paint is owned, as best I can tell, by Miami Air and the gold and black is fictional and inspired by the Miami Air version.
