Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines), known by its initials KLM, is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands. KLM's headquarters is in Amstelveen near its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. KLM operates worldwide scheduled passenger and cargo services to more than 90 destinations. It is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name. The merger of KLM with Air France in May 2004 created Air France-KLM, which is incorporated under French law with headquarters at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Both Air France and KLM continue to fly under their distinct brand names. Air France-KLM is part of the SkyTeam alliance.
KLM's livery is painted on TDS's Boeing 737-700 model (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. Textures for Jens B. Kristensens Bristol Britannia 300 model (BRT_V10.ZIP). These textures decipt Britannia 307 c/n 12921, built at Belfast as Britannia 305 destined for the U.S. Northeast Airlines. But not taken up she was delivered 1958 as Britannia 307 G-ANCE to Air Charter Ltd. London, the first airline founded by the famous aviation intrepreneur Freddy Laker. The aircraft made severall trooping flights between London-Stansted and Christmas Island in the Pacific via Goose Bay, Vancouver and Honolulu. Carrying up to 124 passengers, troops and service personal, in a journey time of 29 hours to the Island, which was used for the British nuclear test programme. The Britannia made many further trooping flights to the, at that time, numerous British overseas bases in the Gulf, Australia, Singapore, Ceylon, Canada and Hong Kong, carrying servicemen and their families. One of these flights reached around the world for 26 100 miles in 72 hours from London via Bahrain, Colombo and Singapore to Adelaide and Sydney, then to Christmas Island and back eastbound via San Francisco and Montreal to London.
G-ANCE went together whis sistership G-ANCD to British United Airways BUA in merger and was sold 1965, converted to freighter 307F, to Lloyd International, then 1972 to Monarch and 1974 to Aer Turas. Withdrawn from use in 1979 she was stored at Manston and later at Dublin, 1981 finaly broken up at Dublin.

| Air Ceylon, Lockheed L-749A Constellation, 1956-1958 |

Air Ceylon was formed in 1947 by the government of the newly independent Republic of Ceylon (nowadays Sri Lanka). That same year three Lockheed L-749 Constellations were ordered for the connection Colombo-London. The order for the Connies lapsed and in 1949 Air Ceylon started a service operating Douglas DC-4s leased from Australian National Airways (ANA), who owned 49% of the shares (the other 51% were owned by the government of Ceylon). However, fierce competition from BOAC's DH-104 Comet 1 and TWA's L-749 Constellation forced Air Ceylon to close the London connection in 1953. In 1955 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines took over the shares from ANA. From 7 February 1956 till 1 November 1958 Air Ceylon leased KLM's L-749A Constellation PH-LDP for its new, weekly connection Colombo-(Bombay)-Karachi-Bahrain-Cairo-Rome-London-Amsterdam. For a limited period this route was extended from Colombo to Bangkok. PH-LDP was sprayed in a very pretty, exotic livery and received the name 'Mahadevi', its previous name having been 'Rotterdam'. In November 1958 PH-LDP was superseded by KLM's L-1049G Super Constellation PH-LKA/4R-ACH which also received a full Air Ceylon livery. On 3 November 1958 PH-LDP was written from use at Schiphol (Amsterdam) and has been scrapped sometime in 1962.
These are textures only. You will require Team 749's (Manfred Jahn & Co) Lockheed L-749 Constellation Basic Pack (lockheed749.zip), the folder Lockheed_L749_1 (twin stack exhausts). Also required Team 749's Lockheed L-749 Constellation Models Update (749_models_update.zip). Included mdl's custom made by Manfred Jahn. Repaints (based on Manfred Jahn's textures) by Maarten Brouwer.

| North Vietnamese Government Ilyushin IL-18D Salon |

The Ilyushin Il-18 is a four turboprop engined passenger aircraft for medium-long range. The first Kuznetsov NK4 powered flight was on 4 Jul 1957 from Moscow-Khodynka airport, the first Ivchenko AI-20 powered flight on 17 Sep 1958. This plane was produced in series for 12 years and achieved great popularity due to the favourable load factor. The main operator was Aeroflot, but the IL-18 proved a popular plane with airlines behind the former "Iron Curtain". In view of possible peace negotiations during the war in Vietnam, the North Vietnamese leadership was in need of a long-haul VIP transport aircraft. The Soviet Union delivered an IL-18D Salon in 1968 registered 195 to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam as an "80th Birthday present" for President Ho Chi Minh. A bit early perhaps since he was born on 19 May 1890; he died at the age of 79. For a while the aircraft displayed on both sides of the nose the call sign BH-195; BH stood for Bac Ho (= Uncle Ho) and 195 stood for his Birthday. The VIP IL-18D was re-registered VN-B195 in 1973. In August 1976 she was transferred to Hang Khong Viet Nam though still wearing the original pre-1973 "Aeroflot style" cheatline. The last landing of this IL-18D Salon was on 15 Dec 1989 at Hanoi after which she was written from use. The registration was cancelled on 31 Dec 1989. The aircraft has been scrapped since. These are textures only. You will need the FS2004 Aeroproyecto Ilyushin IL-18D (aeroproyecto_il18d.zip; available at Flightsim.com) by Edgar Guinart Lopez. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Tiger Airways Australia Pty Ltd, operating as Tigerair Australia, is an Australian low-cost airline. It commenced services in the Australian domestic airline market on 23 November 2007 as Tiger Airways Australia. It is a subsidiary of Tiger Airways Holdings, a Singapore-based company, which is owned partially by Singapore Airlines. The airline is based in Melbourne, Victoria, with its main base at Melbourne Airport. After the 2011 CASA grounding, the airline has shut down its bases at Adelaide and Avalon and initially only operated out of its Melbourne base since returning to the air. On 7 March 2012, Tiger Airways announced that it will reopen a second base at Sydney Airport. On 4 September 2012 Tiger Announced they were resuming flights from Melbourne to Adelaide, beginning from 1 November 2012. On 18 December 2012 Tiger began direct return flights from Mackay to Melbourne and Mackay to Sydney. On 22 October 2012 CASA announced they were issuing a new safety certificate and lifting all restrictions placed on Tiger Airways Australia, as they were now satisfied they were no longer needed.
