Douglas DC-3D, (c/n 42969) Bought by Commercial Air Services on 6 September 1964 and registered as ZS-DXW. Operated schedules and charters until sold in November 1982 to Ethiopian Airlines and registered as ET-AIB. Douglas C47A-30-DL, (c/n 9628) USAF 42-23766. Used by USAF, SAAF, BEA, Autair, Arika, Continental, Air Links, Skyways, National Airways, Protea Airways and Swazi Air. Bought by Comair in February 1974 and registered as ZS-IWL. Sold to Ethiopian Airlines in November 1982 and registered as ET-AIA. Douglas DC-3D, (c/n 42963) USed by Det Danske Fultfartselskab, SAS, Dagens Nyheter, Linjeflyg and Austrian Airlines. Bought by Comair in September 1968 and registered as ZS-FRM. Used in scheduled and charter operations until February 1987. Sold to MIB Aviation in November 1988 and operated in Mozambique on behalf of the Red Cross. Destroyed at Wilson Airport, Kenya in January 1996.
These are texture files only for the Douglas C-47 (c-47_basepack_fs9.zip) by Manfred Jahn. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

It features : Air Canada, Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, Iberia, Lufthansa, United Airlines. This Textures Upgrade Pack bring highly detailed, accurate and most of time photo real textures for the following aircraft parts : main body, wings, tail, engines, virtual cockpit (front panel, shading, night lightning) virtual cabin (ground carpet, seats, overhead). For instance, in cabin, you can even watch at the signs over your seat, seat belts fastened and no smoking or in the flight deck, each aircraft have its own registration card on the front panel.. and many other details to discover. This is the fleet of DARDANELAIR VIRTUAL airlines Beechcraft B1900. You must have PMDG B1900D to use these repaints. There are fourteen B1900 in the fleet of airlines. The names of airplanes get their names from the places of Çanakkale (except some). B1900 is the main and the most important aircraft of the fleet. DARDANELAIR pilots fly with B1900 in special events or fly-inns. DARDANELAIR VIRTUAL is the first regional virtual airlines of the Republic of TURKEY. DARDANEL is the ancient name of ÇANAKKALE. It was founded on 1 March 2007. DARDANELAIR VIRTUAL is a group of independent virtual pilots. The aims of airline are to help the development of virtual aviation community (especially in Turkey), to educate new virtual pilots, to give opportunities to the virtual pilots in order to improve themselves and to share new information about aviation among all people who fall in love with aviation. | Air Viking Vanguard 952 TF-AVA |

File Description:
The ex Air Canada Vanguards acquired by Air Holdings were flown by many airlines in the early days. Many of them were only for a short time as startup airlines took them on with high hopes only to fail or change direction. Air Viking was one of two Icelandic airlines leasing Vanguards in 1970-71. Operating this single Vanguard from a base in Keflavik it flew to many destinations even flying as far as the Canary Islands. Delivered in June 1970 it was repossessed by Air Holding when the airline failed in December of that year. This particular machine came of note when, as CF-TKD it flew the first TCA Westbound flight on 01 February 1961 and again when flying for Invicta as G-AXOY it made the last ever UK passenger Vanguard flight flying a Luton-Luton charter on 26 October 1975. Sold to EAS as F-BXOH it did not enter service but was stored as a spares source at Perpignan. Requires the FSDS Vanguard model by Rick Piper.
