South West Aviation, Douglas DC-3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
South West Aviation started at Exeter in 1966 commencing operations with a Piper Aztec. By early 1968 the airline had grown and acquired a Shorts Skyvan on lease and had established footholds at Bristol Lulsgate and Swansea as well as Exeter. Late 1968 they acquired their first DC3 aircraft G-APBC which operated numerous charter flights within UK and to Ireland and the rest of Europe. It was used for airborne filming of the 'Torrey Canyon' and Aberfan disasters. A second DC3 G-AMYJ was acquired in 1969. Initially the DC3's carried out most of their flying from SW England and S Wales. However, in April 1969 'BC started charter operations between Norwich, Tesside and Aberdeen in support of the North Sea oil industry. 1970 saw the introduction of scheduled air services to Cherbourg from both Exeter and Southampton using the DC3. In 1972 SWA were bought out by Ashford based Air Freight Ltd and the name of South West Aviation disappeared. Requires default DC-3.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 777-206ER Download

File Description:
This is the first repaint of PH-BQB "Borobudur", KLM's second 777 which was delivered on November 7, 2003. I used the v1.0 model made by Melvin Rafi (http://www.meljet.com), so this version doesn't have the useless extended virtual cabin. Version 1 is therefore more framerate friendly than Version 2.

I made this repaint as realistic as possible. Every sticker on the real KLM 777 is integrated in this virtual replica, including the red "cut here" square near the cockpit windows, the new KLM-NWA alliance logo (see image on the top right) and the ETOPS notification on the gear door bays.

The model features everything you'd expect from a GMAX model (i.e. full moving parts & control surfaces). The model is made for FS2002, but will also work in FS2004. To install in FS2004, please refer to the readme.txt file within the download.

Mid East Jet Boeing 777-24Q-ER Download

File Description:
This is a repaint of Meljet the 777-200er GE in Mid East Jet. This is my first repaint and i would like to hear from you about the quality. I also would like to hear suggestion on how to make it better. I created this repaint for those of you who are registered pilots of HRW and have a signed number from David. I also created because I hated flight triple seven's in an airlines paint scheme to places they don't go. Please inform me if this repaint appears on any other flight sim site other than AVSIM. Please send me screen shots for a website i am creating where this and other future repaints of mine are flown and add the flight plan flown. YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE PANEL AND SOUND FOLDERS. THEY ARE SETUP FOR MY SYSTEM. Thanks, Bryan Hobbs HRW 41 [email protected] some interior texture credit goes to Dickson Chan [email protected]

KNIL-ML P-51K N3-609 (early livery) Download

File Description:
N3-609 was delivered to the Dutch East Indies Army (Air Forces) om 9 May 1945 and assigned to the yellow patrol of Nr.121 Squadron. A year later the aircraft was moved from their original base in Australia at Bundaberg to Tjililitan (near Batavia, now Jakarta) in the Dutch East Indies (what it now Indonesia) for use against separatists. The aircraft was later renumbered H-309 when the Dutch armed forces introduced a standard numbering scheme for all aircraft (which is still in use today). At the independence of Indonesia the aircraft was handed over the the newly formed Indonesian airforce (AURI, now TNI-AU) where she entered service as F-309. This livery is typical for the first period, later the Dutch flags were replaced by the now familiar Dutch roundels and the registration number moved from its position on nose and tail to a single large number on the rear fuselage. This livery required the Wings Of Power P-51D to be installed.
