| Air Jordan de Havilland DH-89a Rapide |

File Description:
Aircraft history - c/n 6687 was built at Loughborough as a DH89B Dominie and had the RAF serial number NR811. Postwar, she was converted to a DH89A and became Channel Island Airways’ G-AGSK 27th Oct 1945, then went to Jordan in October 1953 as Air Jordan’s TJ-ABP. Some time between 1953 and 1956 the Jordanian registration letters changed from TJ- (TransJordan?) the JY-, and she became JY-ABP (TJ- is now Caneroons). I don’t know how long she survived after 56, but there’s a reference on the web to a photo of her wreckage.
Airline history: Air Jordan was founded in 1950 by H E Ismail Bilbesi and was partly owned by Trans Ocean Airways. They initially flew Airspeed Consuls on domestic routes out of Amman, but later acquired some C-47s from Trans Ocean to fly the Amman – Kuwait – Kandahar – Kabul route (could be a DC-3 Airways charter there!). In 1960, they acquired a DC-6, and they went bust in ’61. There routes were taken over by Jordan Airways (aka Jordanian).

File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. Textures for Manfred Jahn's Avro York -repainted by Manfred Meyer.
You need to download the avroyork.zip basepack and I recommend to use the FS2004 Avro York Merlin 500 FDE and panel update also.
Many Yorks were used in Northern Canada to support building the Dewline stations and other supply operations.
These textures decipt CF-HMX (c/n MW167) used by Arctic Wings Ltd., Churchill Manitoba from 1954 until it crashed 12.4.1956 at Hall Lake NWT Canada, where the wreckage remains until today.

F-104G Starfighter, German Air Force, c/n 7051 (manufactured by Messerschmitt in Germany).
In service of German Air Force, 1. Wing of Fighter Squadron G 33 (1. Staffel Jabo G33), in Buechel
(near Cochem / Mosel). In a blank metal design from beginning service in 1962 to approx. 1964.
Coded as follows: KE+351 --> DC+109 --> DB+259 --> at 1968: 21+82 in servive of Jabo G32 (LVR1).
In May 1984 to Turkish Air Force. Requires Captain Sims F-104

Texture expansion for the Australian Simulation Glasair III (FS2004 version)
This Glasair is currently being built by Tom and Peter Goddard of Nova Scotia, Canada, registration C-FCNX.
The sporty maroon and blue lines with racing chequers make this aircraft one of the nicest looking Glasair paint schemes to date.
NOTE: You do not need to install this skin if you have version 1.1 or higher of the Australian Simulation Glasair III.

File Description:
Originally built as a military version Dominie for the RAF as NR743, VP-KEF c/n 6831 was purchased by East African Airways in 1947. In 1961 it was re-registered as 5H-AAN and transferred to Seychelles Kilimanjaro Air Transport Ltd in 1961. It is currently in South Africa, registered ZS-JGV and undergoing a complete rebuild and engine overhaul. Textures only. Prior installation of Dave Garwood's de Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide (fs9_dh89.zip) is required. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

But I decided to share this one anyway as a small return contribution to our FS community. Somebody just might want to use it.
