File Description:
A repaint of the Wings of Power B-29 that represents the B-29A "It's Hawg Wild" of the 307th Bomb Group. This plane was rescued from China Lake, restored to flying condition, and flown to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford where it is currently on display. Textures only for the payware Wings of Power B-29.

Boeing B-29 Superfortress, Blank Textures with WWII and post WWII Roundel's

File Description:
After searching the web for blank textures for the (WOP) B-29, I decided to try my hand at making my own. I used the (WOP) repaint by Eric Bramhall of the B-29 "Joltin' Josie" as my starting point for this project. I created my own texture blanks from his repaint, removing the nose art and tail markings but leaving the WWII roundel's in place. I then made the post WWII roundel's by simply adding the red line to them.
I hope you enjoy these textures, and thank you to both Eric Bramhall and David Green. I would not have been able to do this so easily if not for their previous work. Original Texture blanks by David Green. Original Repaint by Eric Bramhall. (B-29 "Joltin' Josie")

Boeing B-29 Superfortress "Eddie Allen", 42-24579

File Description: Boeing B-29A 42-24579. "Eddie Allen", a Superfortress of the 45th BS, 40th Bg. Eddie Allen was the chief test pilot at Boeing and was killed in the crash of the second B-29 prototype. 42-24579 was called Eddie Allen in his honor, and this plane bombed targets in seven countries until she was finally salvaged in May 1945 due to battle damage. Textures only for the "Wings of Power WWII Heavy Bombers and Jets"'s B-29A.
