Italian Air Force, DOUGLAS DC-9/30 , Reparto Volo Stato Maggiore

File Description:
Two DC-9-30 were used, during '70/'80, by Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force) as Presidential a/c and V.I.P. transportation. This aircraft, based on the Ciampino Airport, Rome, Italy, belonged to Reparto Volo Stato Maggiore. This textures set in 'A.M.I.' livery requires the payware Flight One Douglas DC-9/30 package. File Description:
This is a repaint of J.R. Lucariny's Lockheed Electra II. I have included new aircraft.cfg and air files. The original aircraft is required and is available as EleIIVG.zip at www.simviation.com. This represents American Airlines N6121A as it would have appeared in 1968 with the new Astrojet paint scheme. It was delivered new to American in August 1959 and served with American until November 1969.

This is a fictional repaint of a Westland Merlin in a scheme with low viz markings (replacing the former blue and red squadron insignia) typical of current Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) aircraft. It wears the unit badge of 3 Squadron (currently operating UH-1 choppers). These textures are intended for use with the Merlin HC Mk.3 from AlphaSim. Repaint by Frank Safranek.
