File Description:
Avro 685 York C.1 MW126 was delivered to Royal Air Force 511 Sqn. on Sept. 09, 1944. Eventually, MW126 was allocated to RAF Northolt on Oct. 10, 1944. This repaint is dedicated to the people who lost their life on board of MW126 on November 14, 1944, when it crashed in a blizzard into high ground at Le Rivier d'Allemont, near Grenoble, France. Gmax exterior model and paintkit by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, repainted by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory, idea and historical data by Daniel Durand.

File Description:
FS9 repaint of the MAAM TBM-3 Avenger. It represents an aircarft from VT-88 as embarked on USS Yorktown (CV-10) in August 1945. In July the Navy changed from the Geometic Carrier ID system to Alphabetic Tail codes. Yorktown's tail code ID was "RR". Repaint by Steve Bryant based on the TBM-3 of VT-17 (USS Hornet CV-12) original textures by Todd Disrud included in the MAAM Avenger package, and the paintkit by Jan Visser, which can be found on the Free Stuff page for the Avenger at www.maam.org.

Bought by Mohawk Airlines on January 10, 1957,
registered N1013C and named "Airchief Erie". Bought
by Fairchild-Hiller Corporation in January 1967.
Bought by Houston Aviation Products in November 1968,
withdrawn from use and stored. Broken up at Houston,
Texas in 1975. Textures and associated model file
included only. Requires cv240VBFca18_basepack_010.ZIP.

First flight of Convair CV-240-0 with cn 80 on July 14, 1948. Delivered to American Airlines on July 23, 1948, registered N94239 and named "Flagship Lake Superior". On August 10, 1964 bought by Trans-Texas Airways. In December 1967 cn 80 was converted to Convair CV-600. N94239 was last spotted at Tucson International (TUS) in a derelict condition in 1986. The airline was established in September 2003. The lead investor is Indigo Partners, an American private equity firm specialising in transportation investments. The first flight was made on 19 May 2004 from Katowice, 19 days after Poland and Hungary entered the European Union and the single European aviation market. The airline carried 250,000 passengers in its first three and a half months, almost 1.4 million passengers in the first year of operations and to date, 10 million passengers. In 2007 Wizz Air carried 2.9 million passengers on its Polish routes.

c/n 6761. Built 21 June 1944 as Dominie Mk 1 for RAF, but not used. Allocated to SAAF and shipped to South Africa. Sold to Central African Airways and Registered as VP-YFA on 26 July 1946. Sold to Commercial Air Services (Comair) on 9 July 1949 and registered ZS-BFU. Sold to Drakensberg Air Services in 1951. Overturned and destroyed 10 September 1954 while landing at Mokhotlong, Lesotho.
These are texture files only for the de Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide (fs9_dh89.zip) by Dave Garwood. Repaint by Andre Reimers.
