| Braniff "Flying Colors of the U.S." 727 |

File Description:
Repaint of Captainsim's Legendary 727. TCE (Texture & Config Editor) compliant. With wings painted. In 1975 Alexander Calder was commissioned by Braniff to paint an airplane for the Bicentennial, and N408BN was that plane. It was dedicated in a ceremony in Washington D.C. by then First Lady Betty Ford as "The Flying Colors of the United States".

File Description:
Reg. Id G-ANUP, C/n 2562, delivered as L-749 to Quantas October 4, 1947, registered VH-EAA and named "Ross Smith". On January 27 1952 withdrawn from service until March 28, 1952 for conversion to L-749A-79. Bought by British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and delivered on February 19, 1955, registered G-ANUP, named "Branksome". Last service with BOAC on September 14, 1957 and stored at London Heathrow Airport (UK). Leased to Skyways of London from September 1959. In July 1961 installation of large rear cargo door. Returned to BOAC in April 1962. Destroyed on landing at Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, on October 2, 1964.
Textures only. New model file included. The FS2004/FSX Lockheed L-749 Constellation Base Kit (lockheed749.zip) must be installed.

Type: Douglas C-47A-30-DK. Registration: XY-ABF. Year built: 1944. Two Union of Burma C-47's collided on 22 February 1967, but both landed safely at Myitkyina (XY-ABF and XY-ACN). Burma names itself Myanmar today. But, Burma is however still named by the folk and some countries. After the renaming, Union of Burma airways became apportioned in Myanma airways (domestic) and Myanmar airways intl. The airline code of UB is used with domestic flights still today, with the international flights, the airline code was changed effective at the 22 April, 2002 from UB to 8M.
