| MAAM-SIM DC-3 |

File Description:
These are 24-bit templates on which to base repaints of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. They cannot be used with the default FS2004 DC-3. This is not a 'paint kit' as such, as the original MAAM-SIM DC-3 bitmaps are partly photoreal. Rather, these are semi-finished templates on which to base further work. This initial package comprises bare metal and white top liveries for the base Passenger and Cargo DC-3 models in different variations, together with revised alpha channel templates. Simple instructions are included. These base textures reflect commonly found "background" configurations for many liveries, and will save repainters time by not having to get rid of the default colour schemes found in the original package before starting work. Please note that further templates will be issued to complement any future versions of the MAAM-SIM model. The intention is that those templates can be added to this base 'paintkit' folder, the methodology and basic instructions being similar for all paints. Where changes to the model invoke changes in texture mapping or other differences, this will be noted with each new package provided. (near Cochem / Mosel). In a blank metal design from beginning service in 1962 to approx. 1964.
Coded as follows: KE+351 --> DC+109 --> DB+259 --> at 1968: 21+82 in servive of Jabo G32 (LVR1).
In May 1984 to Turkish Air Force. Requires Captain Sims F-104

File Description:
This repaint depicts Boeing's 736-80 Development aircraft (707 Prototype). Tex Johnson barrel rolled this aircraft to demonstrate how good the aircraft flies. This aircraft is now preserved in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. This repaint requires either Captain Sim's "Legendary 707" or Just_flight's "707 professional". I have not been able to make this repaint TCE compatible due to incompatibility issues with my system and the TCE program. In service of German Air Force, 2. Wing of Fighter Bomber Squadron 31 "Boelcke" (Jabo G31),
in Noervenich (near Cologne). In a blank metal design from beginning service in 1962 to approx. 1964. Coded as follows: KF+115 --> DA+243 --> BG+121 --> at 1968: 20+32 in servive of Jabo G31.
At later unknown Date as: 63-13255 4510. CCTW to USA/CNAF. Repaint for the wonderful F-104G Starfighter by Captain Sim. This Repaint is only for use as freeware, not for commecial using.
