Turkish Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-10 'TC-JAV' Ankara Livery

File Description:
On March 3, 1974 the flight (registration number TC-JAV, named "Ankara") was involved in the Ermenonville air disaster — a high speed crash into the forest at Ermenonville, France, only a few minutes after take-off on the Paris-London leg. A defective latch on the cargo door caused it to open in flight, resulting in an explosive decompression. The decompression caused the cabin floor near the door to fail, sucking six passengers out of the plane and severing the control cables leading to the tail surfaces. With elevator control lost, the plane lost horizontal stability and dived into the ground at 430 knots.

BUAF ATL.98 Carvair (55 pax version)

File Description:
These textures represent British United Air Ferries' Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair #7 G-ASDC 'Pont du Rhin' (featured in the 007 film 'Goldfinger'), Carvair #9 G-ASHZ 'Maasbrug' and Carvair #13 G-ASKN 'Pont d'Avignon'. These Carvairs, together with G-ATRV, were configurated to carry either 5 cars and 22 passengers or 2 cars and 55 passengers. The textures are based on Jon Walton's original textures for BUAF's G-ARSD. Apart from different registrations, the window arrangement has been altered. These are textures only. You will require Jon Walton's freeware Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair (jwat98.zip or jwat98_2k2.zip). Textures by Jon Walton, revisions by Maarten Brouwer.

Island in the Sky Douglas C-47 Skytrain USAF 'Corsair'

File Description:
Based on original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set is a representation of the fictional USAF C-47 flown by John Wayne as Dooley in the 1953 classic film, "Island in the Sky". It is intended to complement an article written by Harold "Farmboyzim" Zimmer for the December 2007 issue of "Computer Pilot" magazine. The texture set requires the base R4D-6/DC-3A package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org, together with two subsequent free C-47 enhancements to that product. Cessna 172 PH-KAC

File Description:
Depicted is PH-KAC belonging to Special Air Services based at Teuge NL (EHTE) . Although SAS is based at Teuge this aircraft ( and the rest of the SAS fleet ) are to be ( frequently ) found at Lelystad Airport ( EHLE ) and Aviodrome ( aeroplane museum ) , where they can be hired for sightseeing flights amongst other things . The PH-KAC also has the Aviodrome logo on the doors . Other aircraft available are : PH-AWL , PH-IRO , PH-KRI , PH-PVG and PH-SMA . Not really needed for the normal simpilot , but when flying online you wont all be flying the same aircraft !! PAYware Cessna 172R from Flight1 is needed to use this repaint .

US Airways Panthers Logojet Airbus A319

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Wilco A319 Airbus that comes with the payware Wilco Airbus collection, Vol 1, Deluxe Edition. This repaint is based on the real life US Airways "Panther Air", registration number N717UW. MUST have the Wilco series Airbuses for this livery to work. Livery works with both the FS9 and FSX Wilco series. For this one I had to take some creative liberty. The panther on the sides is not lined up EXACTLY as it appears in real life, due to Wilco's paint kit. I tried to give as close an approximation as I could... I hope you enjoy my second repaint contribution! Comments are welcome.

F-86F Sabre "MiG Mad Marine"

File Description:
US Air Force F-86F-30 Sabre "MiG Mad Marine". A repaint with extra supplementary texture detailing for the FS2004 SECTIONF8 North-American F-86EF Saber (SF86EF.ZIP). This is a representation of the airplane flown by Maj. John H. Glenn, Jr., USMC while TDY as an exchange pilot with the USAF during the Korean War. The art work on the side of the fuselage was unusual since it referred not only to Maj. Glenn, but also to his family by the addition of the label, "Lyn - Annie - Dave I" forward of the primary art. Like most combat aircraft, the art appeared only on the left side. Textures by Cliff Presley.

Sky Express, BAe J-41 Jetstream

File Description:
Sky Express is a regional charter Airline based in Heraklion Crete and operates a BAe Jetsream J-41. The Jetstream 41 is a high-performance, pressurized-cabin, two 11230kW (1650shp) TPE33114s turboprops driving five blade constant speed McCauley propellers on initial production aircraft. Most often employed as a corporate transport in the world. Sky Express operates charter flights connecting Crete with the Aegean islands of Rhodes, Mykonos, Mytilini, Santorini and other attractive destinations. Other services include: air-taxi, Emergency Medical Service, excursions, sight-seeing and cargo flights.
