Arado Ar-196A-3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
FS2004/FSX Romanian Arado Ar-196A-3. Two liveries, for Aerosoft's Arado Ar-196, in colours of Royal Romanian Air Force. Only 2 Ar-196A-3 were used for test trials in middle of 1943, by RRAF, at main Romanian seaplane base of Mamaia-Siutghiol. Due to lack of information about homebase, an imaginary water movement area AFCAD file for Palas aerodrome(hydro) has been created. AI flightplans and aircraft type and model vcpmod file are also included. Textures main files are in DXT3 format. Files by Patrick George Mititeanu.

King Air C90 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Beechcraft King Air C90 for FS9 This is a series of repaints for Dee Waldron's King Air C90. I have recently revised the textures, adding details and shadowing thanks to Henry Tomkiewicz' AI paint kits. There are 8 repaints in this file. Screen shots are enclosed. I have also included a paint kit. The visual model, aircraft configuration file and air files are included. This aircraft, and other members of the King Air family are projects Dee and I worked together on some years ago. The textures are newly refeshed. I have many hours happily flying these aircraft. Dee's model is very sparing of resources. This aircraft may be used as an AI aircraft or a fully flyable aircraft. As far as panels and sounds, I've left this to the user. The stock Microsoft King Air is an obvious starting point. Pierre Fasseux has designed three alternatives to the default panel, which represent a better choice. Leon Medado has created a very good freeware alternative to the default sounds. These are all available in the Flightsim.com library. These files are provided on an as-is basis. I have tested them and have found them to work as intended. Michael Verlin January 29, 2015

P-51D Mustang "Upupa Epops" Download

File Description:
This is a repaint pack only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. P-51D 44-72364 was built at the North American Aviation Inglewood plant in 1944. It was sent into action with the 353rd Fighter Group, 352nd Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Force. The aircraft was flown by Capt. Harrison "Bud" Tordoff, who named it "Upupa Epops", latin for the Hoopoe Bird which has ungainly flight. At war's end Bud Torduff had claimed nine enemy airplanes shot down, one of them an Me-262 shot down while flying "Upupa Epops." After the war the aircraft was sent to the Royal Swedish Air Force, then flew with the Dominican Air Force from 1952 until 1984. Paul Allen, of Microsoft fame, purchased the aircraft in 1999, adding it to his growing muesum, the Flying Heritage Collection. The aircraft immediately went to WestPac, in California, for restoration. During this time period it was restored inside and out, matching every component to every specification of the original, utilizing documents upon documents of information. When the aircraft completed restoration in 2001, it was the most original, most authentic of its type. After several test flights in its factory finish, the original "Upupa Epops" markings were applied. Currently the aircraft can be seen at its newest home, with the Flying Heritage Collection, at Paine Field, near Seattle. Included within this download are two repaints, one portrays exactly how "Upupa Epops" looked when it rolled out of WestPac's shop after restoration, in factory standard, and the second portrays the aircraft complete with markings.

Aegean Airlines Avro RJ100 Download

File Description:
This is an Avro RJ100 repainted in the AEGIAN AIRLINES livery by John Orfanos ([email protected]). The RJ100 is an upgraded model of the similar BAe 146-300. The model [(ARNZ) BAe 1463) is the best I could find as freeware on the net having dynamic wing views on both sides. I have used the default 737 panel just to minimize the size of the file. Attention has been given to the night lighting of the aircraft with the lights reflecting on the sides of the engines. Mip Maps excluded to remove the blurries.... It is an excellent AI aircraft

Iran Air Airbus A340-300 Download

File Description:
This is a repaint (plus other required files!) of the FSPainter great A343 in imaginary livery (nc) of Iran Air since IR doesn't have any A340's at the moments (who knows, they may get some after this repaint for I once uploaded a repaint of Aerolineas Argentinas 744 and they got their first 744 after that!! Hey, I did the same for Air Pacific- no didn't upload it- and same thing happened!!! Am I any sort of a magician!!?!!). This is actually an AI aircraft but is quite flyable in both FS2002 and FS2004. Model and base textures by FSPainter.

AirTran (NC) Boeing 737-700 Download

File Description:
A repaint of Tsutomu Urakawa's Boeing 737-700(V2) in the new AirTran livery. It is the first aircraft of its type to enter service with AirTran in 2004. The aircraft is a complete package and includes all required model files. Two variants are included, one configured for AI and having DXT3 textures for faster loading and better frame rates, and the other configured for flying in its own right and having 32 bit textures for better visual qualities. The aircraft also works in FS2002. Particular thanks to Tsutomu Urakawa for his kind permission to use the model and paint kit.

Russian Air Force MiG-23MF Flogger-G, "Red-31" Download

File Description:
Russian Air Force MiG-23 Flogger "Red-31", a very faded, dirty, and used aircraft in the reference photo; painted using Kazunori Ito's outstanding new MiG-23MF model, available on www.simviation.com. This swing-wing aircraft was a mainstay of Soviet/Russian fighter forces in the 1970's through the 1990's, and is still in service with several countries. The aircraft is painted in DXT1 textures (it's not a reflective model), and optimized for use as an AI; although it flies just fine, too. This is a textures-only file, you need Kazunori Ito's full aircraft to use.
