FS2004 ELVA B747 Pack Update to v3. This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 747 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. Fly UK Virtual Airways livery will be added in the future. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. File Description:
The Curtiss SB2C replaced the Douglas SBD in Nov of 1943, not well received by most Naval Dive Bomber pilots who didn't think it was a fitting replacement for the sturdy reliable and well-liked SBD. It was called the "Son of a Bitch 2nd Class ", "The Beast" and the "Big Assed Bird". E.B.A. (ÅëëçíéêÞ ÂáóéëéêÞ Áåñïðïñßá / Royal Hellenic Air Force) received more than 37 SB2C-5 since spring of 1949 and used them until the end of the Civil War against communist rebel troops. The last Hellenic "Helldiver" was retired during 1952. Texture set only for an aircraft belonged to 336th Bomber Sqdn. (M.E.B.) of the Royal Hellenic Air Force (E.B.A.) during 1949/50.These textures require the new and beautiful FREEWARE FS9 Curtiss SB2C-4 HELLDIVER by Wolfang 'Wolfi' Faber downloadable at http://www.sim-outhouse.com. Fairey Albacore V1.0
The Fairey Albacore was a British single-engine carrier-borne biplane torpedo bomber built by Fairey Aviation between 1939 and 1943 for the Fleet Air Arm and used during the Second World War. It had a three-man crew and was designed for spotting and reconnaissance as well as delivering bombs and torpedoes. The Albacore, popularly known as the "Applecore", was conceived as a replacement for the aging Fairey Swordfish, which had entered service in 1936. However, the Albacore served with the Swordfish and was retired before it, being replaced by the Fairey Barracuda and Grumman Avenger monoplane torpedo bombers. This Aircraft depicts Fairey Albacore N4389, 827 Naval Air Squadron, HMS Victorious. Shot down during raid on Kirkenes, July 1941. Salvaged, rebuilt and now on display in the FAA Museum

| Martinair "Biafra" Douglas DC-6A |

File Description: On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud
owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and
four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The
DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or
97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was
a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October
1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from
the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf
of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was
overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to
Yugoslavia. The inspiration for this repaint was a coincidental meeting at
Schiphol I had many years ago with former Martinair Captain Dries van Ommen. He
was in command of PH-MAM during the Biafra airlift. We had a nice conversion,
accompanied by the impressive sight and sound of a DC-6 during take off. These
are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B
CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at
http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer. For FS2004 and FSX.

| Alphasim CF-100 'Canuck' , 8-pack new weathered redone textures (8 individual aircraft) |

File Description:
Totally redone textures for alphasim's CF-100 'Canuck' ( www.alphasim.co.uk ). Weathering, rivetting ,panel lines (and mush reworking of line positioning so control surface markings line up with actual model control surfaces) and given a hopefully realistic metallic look.
A note about dusk, dawn and night. For some reason with the lights on, the textures become transparent during these times. Solutions are to turn off lights or turn off reflections in the settings. I hope to find out why this problem exists but I don't know.
These are the result of many many hours or research and graphics work and I hope some people get something out of them. They bring this older model to new life in my opinion.
