File Description:
The FD.2 was a world-beater, taking the Absolute World Air Speed record in 1956.nLater, in the 1960s, as BAC was developing Concorde, one of the FD.2 aircraft was converted to an ogee delta wing under ER.193D. This provided valuable data for the Concorde programme. Model Includes Moving sufraces, Reflective textures, Opening canopy, Tilting nose, Basic VC, Automatic afterburner effects. 2 Varients: RAF Cosford & Concorde Testbed.

File Description:
Fairey Albacore Prototype V2.0
The Fairey Albacore was a British single-engine carrier-borne biplane torpedo bomber built by Fairey Aviation between 1939 and 1943 for the Fleet Air Arm and used during the Second World War. It had a three-man crew and was designed for spotting and reconnaissance as well as delivering bombs and torpedoes. The Albacore, popularly known as the "Applecore", was conceived as a replacement for the aging Fairey Swordfish, which had entered service in 1936. However, the Albacore served with the Swordfish and was retired before it, being replaced by the Fairey Barracuda and Grumman Avenger monoplane torpedo bombers. This Aircraft depicts the prototype Fairey Albacore L7074. | Gere Sport Biplane |
|
File Description:
The Gere Sport Biplane is a 30's era homebuilt biplane, designed and built by George "Bud" Gere, who was killed in an accident before he could witness his plane's first flight. Early models used Ford Model T and Model A engines. This FS2004 version is powered by a Continental C-90-12F engine, which gives it a cruise speed of over 100 mph. It was created using actual plans (from the EAA 1933 Flying Manual) and the flight model accurately simulates an actual Gere Sport (N4686T) that I owned and flew during the mid 80's. That plane was slightly tail-heavy, which might have been due to the large Maule tailwheel that it was fitted with. It was great for getting in and out of rough fields. Not much in the way of instruments, so this won't be your favorite IFR bird. TrackIR users: you'll find a lot of visual enhancements in the virtual cockpit, so be sure to look around. Features: engine cowling that opens to display detailed Continental C-90 engine. This plane will do nice aerobatics and incredible sideslips.

| De Havilland DH-81/A Swallow Moth |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The de Havilland DH.81 Swallow Moth was aimed at the low cost sporting aircraft market during the Great Depression. It was a single engined two seat low-wing monoplane; only one was built.
There was separate tandem seating for two, initially open, but later enclosed with a one-piece hinged cabin top. With this enclosure the aircraft was called the DH.81A
The Swallow Moth was first flown by Geoffrey de Havilland on 21 August 1931.Some alteration to the fin followed and the flight testing continued until February 1932. During this time the class B marking E-7 was allocated, but the Swallow Moth never made it to the civil register. Its design influenced later de Havilland aircraft, particularly the 1938 Moth Minor.
Built using FSDS V3.0, Model is fully Animated and has Reflective textures.
Not Tested in FSX

File Description:
New version of previous MATS (Military Air Transport Service) Lockheed C-121A model by the same author (lockheed_c121a.zip, 2007). It is not necessary to remove previous plane, this will be placed as a new Aircraft model.
Highly improved Virtual Cockpit with 45 levers and switches, more than 100 other gauges, main and Flight Engineer commands etc, all working. This complexity has certain impact on rather sluggish instrument needles, but I hope it could be compensated by other flying qualities. For FS9 (FS2004), but can be used in FSX with some restrictions (FSX Note included). Lockheed C-121 with the "A" prefix was the military version of the L-749 model. The US Air Force ordered ten C-121As in 1948 but only nine were built.
