In 1945 this little known (and probably unheard of) Southampton engineering works announced the existence of their CONCORDIA medium range 10 seat 'feeder liner' project which put it directly head to head in the same market as the DH104 Dove, the prototype of which had already flown.
The advertising publicity of the day described a very desirable, luxurious aircraft with a 1200 mile range. Designed as a DH89A Dragon Rapide replacement, as with the Dove, the operating costs would prove to be at least twice as high but an attractive modern metal airliner with passenger appeal was on offer!
In 1947 the first two airframes had been completed and were flying. In addition a production line of six aircraft had been laid down. These included c/n 3 for the Nawab of Bhopal (G-AKBF/VT-CQT) and two for British European Airways. Unfortunately, due to an inadequate market, by the end of the year all work was suspended and the incomplete airframes were scrapped.

DSB Designs BAe Systems Hawk Mk.50/60, complete package. This aircraft is one of five Hawk packages that the restructured DSB Design team made available on their site as freeware; but the download link broke after only a few days; and I was one of the fortunate ones able to get the aircraft. After consulting with both David Brice and the AVSIM staff; all were generous enough to give consent for me to post these excellent aircraft here for general download. This file is unaltered, just as I downloaded it from the site. Aircraft models and textures by DSB systems. Thanks very much David, and AVSIM. Uploaded by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
The De Havilland Heron must be the smallest four engine airliner in the world! And it can take off and land almost anywhere. This, the first in my Three Herons series, represents the Mark 1 variety with fixed undercarriage. This is G-ANXB - named Sir James Simpson, which served British European Airways for many years serving the Scottish islands and regularly used to land on the beach at Barra. This package includes a high detail panel featuring many new gauges. As these gauges are common to all three in this series, these have been placed in a separate download herongg.zip. A free add-on for MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 CD owners requires a previous installation of that package in FS2004 before the self-installer will run. The photo-real model has many new features, including new engine textures, night-lit nacelles, 3-D propeller hub mechanisms, modern antennae array, and much more to duplicate the real OY-BPB. This aircraft, owned and operated by The Association for Flying Museums Planes/Danish Dakota Friends is based at Værløse, Denmark. The R4D/DC-3 CD may be obtained from www.maam.org. All sale proceeds support the restoration programs of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, Reading, PA.

Former payware package uploaded with permission from original authors. The deHavilland DH82 Tiger Moth is one of the most popular British training aircraft ever. Upwards of 90% of the Allied Air Forces' pilots (WWII) were trained, either in the deHavilland Tiger Moth or the Piper Cub. Included are several paints of the wheeled DH82 and with the float equipped Tiger Moth. This FS aircraft is typical of the level of quality that is standard for anything Bill Lyons designs and if flying this type of aircraft is enjoyed by yourself, then this is simply the best Tiger Moth you'll ever find for FS2002 or COF. Bear!

| Piper Cherokee Six-300 |

File Description:
The PA-32 series began life as the Cherokee Six, a significantly modified six seat development of the PA-28 Cherokee series. While similar in configuration to the Cherokee, the Cherokee Six differed in a number of major areas. Two of the big differences were implied in its name, a six cylinder O-540 or IO-540 powerplant, and the six seat configuration. While the wing was based on the Cherokee's, the fuselage was substantially larger, with strengthened undercarriage and a larger tail. This package includes an all new FSDSv2 model, custom panel, dynamic virtual cockpit, three paint schemes, and a set of blank textures.
