SOUTH AFRICAN AIRFORCE P51D MUSTANG FOR FS2004
The aircraft features full moving parts, a virtual cockpit and panel with all gauges in xml format.
To reduce download size, an alias sound is used.
The aircraft is part of a series of aircraft used by the South African Airforce during the Korean war. Aircraft No 330 is depicted in the colours of the South African Airforce Flying Cheetas No 2 Squadron.
The aircraft was allocated to Lt Mickey Rorke. He was killed on 15 May 1951 when his plain crashed after takeof.

File Description:
This is an updated model of Dave Eckerts' Eclipse, the source file of which I obtained from his website. With his permission and help, I have added animations including a female pilot and female passengers.
Included in this file are two texture sets, one for British Airways and a fictional airline, Helandair. It has all the other usual animations and landing light effects. Much help was also given by John Cillis who provided me with the .air file and info on the virtual cockpit. The model uses the default Learjet gauges and sounds, so you should have no probelems. The Boeing BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) is Boeing's version of the executive jet in the top end of the executive market, competing with aircraft such as the Dassault Falcon 900. Although it is marginally slower, it has the edge in space and range over most of its competitors. This aircraft has full animation, including thrust reversers and opening doors, full lighting effects as well as checklists. It is painted in the colors of the South African Air Force and represents the aircraft used by Pres. Thabo Mbeki. A set of blank textures with easy-to-use instructions are also provided, SO YOU CAN EASILY PERSONALIZE THIS PLANE AND HAVE YOUR OWN EXECUTIVE JET.

If you would like to start your military flying career, this file is for you. First, cut your teeth on the basic North American T-6 Texan (Harvard) and then move on to the twin-seater Atlas Impala Mk. 1 (Aermacchi MB326M) to start your jet training. Finally, move on to your own single-seater jet, the Atlas Impala Mk. 2 (Aermacchi MB326KC) to become fully operational.
All three aircraft include checklists and virtual dynamic cockpits. They are all fully animated (including opening canopies), have full lighting effects and include custom panels. The "Aircraft overstressed"-problem that occurs when trying fast maneuvers has also been rectified, so you can throw them about at your hearts content. HAPPY FLYING!!
