Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar

File Description:
With the kind permission of Daisuke Yamamoto, this package is a rework of his wonderful model of the Fairchild C-119 "Flying Boxcar." Included is his original paint scheme and I have included two more, one for "Bush Flying Unlimited" and the other for my friend Bob Arthur, "Reddog's Air Service;" both sets rendered in 32-bit hi-res format with no mip-maps. The configuration files have been reworked by the talented Mr. Herb Morse and Brian Gladden to provide flight characteristics as close as possible to the real thing. Thank you Mr. Yamamoto for providing the flight community with such a wonderful model of a classic workhorse.

Piper PA28-140 v1.1 Update

File Description:
FS2004 Piper PA28-140 registration OY-DHD, v1.1, update and modifications by Claus Vendelboe Holmberg This is a complete aircraft, features a fully modelled cabin, photorealistic 2D instrument panel with working yoke and auto-pilot, co-pilot's panel and a working virtual cockpit, photorealistic textures, full control surfaces, door and suspension animation, dynamic shine and glass reflections. All with custom made gauges, everything inclouded. Aircraft textures are also photorealistic, based upon an aircraft flown by Billund Air Center in Denmark. Model v1.0 by Ole Egholm, with updated 2D panel by Claus Vendelboe Holmberg. This package includes anything what's needed to fly this aircraft in flightsimulator.

Cessna Citation Sovereign

File Description:
This VJPL production of the Cessna Citation Sovereign comes fully loaded with all the features one could expect of a 16 million dollar business jet Custom designed to be frame rate friendly using a "Lite" switch that during use in high density scenery hides the passenger cabin in an instant and reduces the load on the computer. Further, this model performs better in the VC than with the 2D panel in view, interior appointments include a high detail passenger cabin with running water in the lavatory and a flushing toilet, all tables extend for use and include wine for the animated passenger, a functional bar, an operational computer and all cabin doors including closet open and close and leather seating, animated copilot, fully click able Virtual Cockpit animated down to the visors and custom cabin lighting, the exterior has all control surfaces and exits animated and thrust reverser's.

PDF documents for this model include performance data, flight instructions and FMC operations manual. My thanks to Glenn Copeland for the computer display, the good Friar and all those who helped with specifications and layout.

Gere Sport Biplane

File Description:
The Gere Sport Biplane is a 30's era homebuilt biplane, designed and built by George "Bud" Gere, who was killed in an accident before he could witness his plane's first flight. Early models used Ford Model T and Model A engines. This FS2004 version is powered by a Continental C-90-12F engine, which gives it a cruise speed of over 100 mph. It was created using actual plans (from the EAA 1933 Flying Manual) and the flight model accurately simulates an actual Gere Sport (N4686T) that I owned and flew during the mid 80's. That plane was slightly tail-heavy, which might have been due to the large Maule tailwheel that it was fitted with. It was great for getting in and out of rough fields. Not much in the way of instruments, so this won't be your favorite IFR bird. TrackIR users: you'll find a lot of visual enhancements in the virtual cockpit, so be sure to look around. Features: engine cowling that opens to display detailed Continental C-90 engine. This plane will do nice aerobatics and incredible sideslips.

Nick's Space Shuttle Landing Challenge FINAL RELEASE

File Description:
Featuring the Space Shuttle Discovery and celebrating NASA's return to space! This package contains the most up to date version of my Space Shuttle Landing Challenge (v1.2). I am providing it as a FINAL single installation package to eliminate the need for multiple update files. This package includes the Space Shuttle Discovery redesigned using actual NASA-Boeing mechanical/aeronautical engineering data, a panel, sounds and shuttle landing FX. The space shuttle in the sim (like the real shuttle) has the ability to water 'ditch' and belly land in an emergency or if improperly landed on the suspension system. You can select the sensitivity of the main landing gear struts (less crashes) for those who are novice to flying critical tolerances. This package includes a CHALLENGE FLIGHT ADVENTURE PACKAGE and features a reference list of the flights along with approach/landing procedure tips to the kneeboard (F-10) for you to refer to while in flight. The adventure pack will provide a set of 11 challenge flights spanning the globe for the space shuttle re-entry simulation. A Bonus PACK of CrashBar effects including smoke, fire, explosions and other nasty reminders of landing mistakes is included as an optional installation. The original .mdl file is by Matthew Moxon and a modified for FS9 panel byTom Kellner. Piaggio P-166DL3 SEM Patrol Version

File Description:
Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The seventh of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins. The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The P-166DL3 is the actual production version of a plane that firt flew in 1957, now with turboprop engines, new avionics, increased fuel capacity, and completly new hydraulic and electric system. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957, and the DL3 is dated 1976. The APH version (Aero-PHotograammetric) was originally built featuring a flat bottom with opening holes for cameras and orher devices, planning to use the unit for logistic squads, that never formed. So the APH internal features were generally limited to Military high density transport, paratrooper transport, or Cargo. Units fitted with APH original projected photogrammetric capibilities are very rare. he SEM version can be esily identified by the big sonar under the nose, the FLIR under the left wing and a search light on the right wing. It' a maritime antismuggling patrol aircraft, and it's used by the italian Cost guard and "guardia Di Finanza (Finance Guard). The aircraft waits to be repalced by a new version, the P-166DP-1, with PT-6A engines. This model is 740 Kbs with c.a. 21000 polygons in c.a.160 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic Photoreal VC with non-planar throttle quadrant. New here is the photoreal panel. Detailed internals.
