FS2004 Vickers Viking. A completely new model of the Vickers Viking, a British airliner of the immediate postwar years. The Viking served with BEA and many other airlines until the middle of the 1960's. Three variants (Viking 1A, 1 and 1B) with textures for BEA (three variants), SAS, DDL, Airwork, BWIA and Indian National Airways are included. This version supersedes version 2.1. Designed to fly Los Angeles-London and Paris-Tokyo in 20-plus hours non-stop, the Starliner flew with TWA, Air France, and Lufthansa.
New in v. 2.2: Modified flight dynamics to reflect full engine operation and manual leaning. Improved hardware mixture levers support. Optional advanced users configuration includes carb heat and fuel metering. Revised documentation offers printable checklists, cruise performance operating tables, and a tutorial on leaning with or without hardware mixture controls. Improved engine damage and failure effects. Status window includes color-coded engine diagnostics and warnings. Choice of new or classic style autopilot. Simicons invisible except on mouse hover. "Rotate" callout now precedes V2. Moveable pilot seats for improved panel views. Revised external night textures. Revised TWA fuselage texture.

P-38 Pair: Lockheed P-38J & F-5 ver. 2.1. This package includes two workhorses of the war: the P-38J Lightning and its close cousin, the F-5 Photo Lightning. The J model has three texture sets (55th FS/20th FG with D-Day markings, Dick Bong's "Marge" and the Planes of Fame "Porky II.") The F-5 is "Queenie," which saw action in the ETO with the 33rd PRS. Full-featured FSDS2 models. Complete package, including authentic P-38 sounds recorded by the author. Includes some gauges by Mike Wagner and Chuck Dome.

File Description:
Dimensionally identical to the first-generation Constellation (L-049), the
post-war 749 had more powerful engines, additional fuel tanks, strengthened
landing gear, and much improved performance. Equally good for shuttle hops
and long-range flights, L-749 Connies entered service with major 1950s
carriers such as Eastern, TWA, B.O.A.C., Air France, KLM, Quantas, and many
others. Another customer was the Air Force, which placed an order for ten
aircraft (designated C-121A) in 1948.
Included in this sim package are seven
models and five textures, covering variants with and without "Speedpak"
cargo pannier, weather radar, and "jetstack" exhausts. KLM texture by Jaap
de Baare (representing "Flevoland", the last 749 in flying condition today).
TWA texture N6003C "Star of America" by Hans Herrmann. EAL, Air France, and
MATS textures by Manfred Jahn (including "8609", a frequent visitor to
airshows all over the world until 2005). Panel textures and additional
gauges by Diego S. Barreto, model and VC by Manfred Jahn, panels, gauges,
and animations by Hansjoerg Naegele, flight dynamics by Luis Pallas,
wingview angles, lights, and exhaust effects by Bill Tyne and Roland Berger,
checklist and documentation by Volker Boehme, flight test and handling
research by Stefan Werner. The 749 project has been hosted by Tom Gibson's

Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation V2 - This re-uploaded version integrates the changes of the 20 May 2009 Update pack released elsewhere.
First flown in December 1954, the "Super G" was the most successful and
prestigious civil variant of Lockheed's Super Constellation series. It could
carry up to 99 passengers, and optional wing-tip tanks holding 600 gallons
each enabled it to comfortably fly the popular long-distance routes.
Included in the package are four models representing aircraft with and
without radar noses and tip tanks.

gauges by Diego S. Barreto. Model, VC, and texture basics by Manfred Jahn,

High detail model of the cargo version of BAe's successful 146/RJ aircraft type. Model features
fully animated gear with suspension, animated flaps, rudder, wing spoilers activated on the
ground and tail spoiler in the air, 3D engine fan blades, animated front door with airstair,
animated rear cargo door with access ladder, reflective textures and dynamic shine effetcs.
This model also features 'AIS' Animated Inbuilt Scenery feature upon engine shut down. Basic

This YS-11 depicts the version used by Japan Coast Guard / Maritime Safety Agency. The aircraft has some unique features, such as MAD boom in the tail and two large observation windows on both sides of the fuselage. New features: improved 3D model with feathering prop blade animation and parked aircraft mode with visible intake covers, streamers etc. Better virtual cockpit with new night lighting, smooth gauge update rate, more mouse operable levers and switches and VC window rain effects.
