The following skeletonized airplane is being released freeware so that everyone can participate in our $50 Cash Prize repaint contest. Entries must be submitted by June 14th, 2010. Included are two Aircraft Models stripped of their engine detail and virtual cockpits, 2 Paint Schemes, and a Photoshop Repaint Kit. File Description:
Features models for the Convair 990, Convair 990A and Convair 990A (late) with inboard thrust reverser extensions. Each of those variants has "no decals" and "with wing decals" models. Includes XML animations for flaps, slats and thrust reversers.These aircraft were designed as AI models with 7 level of detail model (LODs), and not as "flyable" aircraft. As the 'varks used to say, "it's meant to only be flown by very experienced AI pilots".
These are FS9-native models; they SHOULD be compatible with FS versions up to P3D v3.

FS2004 DH 106 Comet 1 and 2 ver 2.0. The worlds first jetliner. The Comet 1 entered sevice with BOAC in 1952, initially on the route from London to Johannesburg. This package includes liveries for BOAC, Air France, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF Comet 1's, and BOAC and RAF Comet 2's. Version 2 model by Jens B. Kristensen, sounds by Mike Hambly, Benoit Plamondon and Mark Cranston (Aeromusica). For FS2004, FSX users should download Comet_V20X.zip instead.

Piaggio PD-808 Version 2.1. All variants included (RM, GE, TA, TP, Civil).
V2.1 brings improved virtual cockpit performance, advanced sound effects, advanced fuel systems simulation (a component requires FSUIPC), some operational procedure corrections and minor bug fixes. FSUIPC is optional however (needed for a very rarely used control).
The Piaggio PD-808 is a light twin turbojet aircraft that saw service with the Italian Air Force until 2003. They were employed as trainers, VIP transports, Navaid Calibrators and ECM platforms. A single machine, registered I-PIAL, was used by Piaggio itself as a corporate transport. This simulation includes in-depth avionics and systems, completely working overhead panel, some failure modeling (when it is improperly operated), pressurization system, and vintage style autopilot. Includes 2D panel, 3D virtual cockpit, and a sound package with special sound effects. It is very important to read the manual before flying! For V2.0 users, a short "update manual" is included.

FS2004 ALPHA BLEU CIEL French Chance Vought F4U-7 Corsair.The F4U-7 was the last corsairs produced. The F4U-7 was produced exclusively for the French Navy at Vought’s plant in Grand Prairie. A total of 94 planes were produced between 1952 and 1963. The F4U-7 was basically an updated version of the F4U-1B with AU-1’s structure powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-2800-43. The F4U-7 has a maximum speed of 440 mph (382 knots). France has used the F4U-7 in Indochina, Suez and Algeria.Two models made completely in Gmax with dynamic shine, reflective textures, full suspension, animated gear, flaps, cowls flaps, opening cockpit, wing fold, tail hook, custom 2D panel, working VC and includes two liveries. 3D Model, virtual cockpit & textures Guy Hulin.
