The download version of Ready for Pushback has gone Freeware. This download contains the Tape Panel, Analog Panel and 17 aircraft. This is the B747-200 package that has won the AVSIM award, used by more than one airline for training purposes and is probably the most complex and realistic B747-200 ever made available for flight simulation. FSUIPC is required--this add-on works only with FS2004. A free add-on for MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 CD owners requires a previous installation of that package in FS2004 before the self-installer will run. The photo-real model has many new features, including new engine textures, night-lit nacelles, 3-D propeller hub mechanisms, modern antennae array, and much more to duplicate the real OY-BPB. This aircraft, owned and operated by The Association for Flying Museums Planes/Danish Dakota Friends is based at Værløse, Denmark. The R4D/DC-3 CD may be obtained from www.maam.org. All sale proceeds support the restoration programs of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, Reading, PA.

At 4:30 A.M. on May 10, 1940, three Junkers Ju 52's took off from the Cologne airfields of Ostheim and Butzweilerhof, towing behind them three other aircraft that lacked motors. The first front service of a new weapon, the freight glider, developed by the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight), had begun. A total of 41 DFS-230 freight gliders with 400 paratroopers were launched for this mission. It was their task to take the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich. With this successful operation the crossing of the Albert Canal was secured and the cornerstone of Belgian defense fell in German hands.
These assault gliders were also used during the Krete invasion (1941). The DFS 230's last significant use was during the 'Eichen' operation: 10 assault gliders were used to deliver the group of hand picked commandos led by Otto Skorzeny against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel that was used to hold Mussolini. The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received from Luftwaffe, during 1941, almost 20 DFS-230 and 4 Gotha Go-242 assault gliders. These aircrafts were used only for pilot training until 09/1943.

| Fairchild C-82A Packet (Project Phoenix) |

File Description:
First and foremost, this aircraft package is dedicated to the memory of the late Paul Mantz, a veteran stunt pilot who gave his life in the making of the 1965, 20th Century Fox movie, “Flight of the Phoenix” starring James Stewart and a strong cast of other well known actors.
This package contains not only the C-82 Packet, but, as a special feature, “The Phoenix” as well. For those of you who have not seen this classic, you are missing a real jewel. It can still be obtained in VHS or DVD at www.amazon.com I highly recommend it.
The C-82 comes in three paint schemes, U.S.A.F., Bush Flying Unlimited, and of course, Arabco Oil. The Phoenix is painted as it was in the movie. Both aircraft have excellent panels built by K. Mitchell and the C-82 possesses a very nice virtual cockpit on par with that found in the C-119; previously released. These are DXT-3 textures with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. I chose this format in the attempt to maintain a minimal upload/download package size. I will be following up with individual texture replacement packages in 32-bit for those who wish them.

This package contains an updated re-release of all my original Piaggio P-166 models developed for FS-2002/2004. All versions are included in a single package: P-166A, P-166BL-2, P-166CL-2, P-166M, P-166S, P-166DL-3 and P-166DP-1. The 3D models are the same, so these are fairly simple models. Yet they come with a VC (no 2D panel this time!). With respect to the original releases, they come with very much improved panels, in two flavors: Piston and Turboprop. Gauges developed by Milton Shupe & Scott Thomas for the Aero Commander / Turbo Commander Aircraft series, and Edgar Guinart López of Aeroproyecto for the Embraer 110. Other Gauges from my own Piaggio P-180 & PD-808. Also Included is a brand-new flight model redeveloped from scratch. Please refer to the Reference and Checklist pages provided via the FS Kneeboard for flying and operating instructions.
The Piaggio P-166 is a light small twin. An Exotic twin-engine prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light amphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tail planes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957. The aircraft was still in production in the early 21st century in an improved turboprop version, the P-166DP-1.

The Gloster Gladiator Mk 1 was the last British biplane fighter, a development of the Gauntlet with an enclosed single seat cockpit, cantilever landing gear and with increased armament, and a 2 blade fixed pitch propeller. First flown in 1935, the Gladiator went into service with the RAF in 1936. The Mark 1 had a 830 hp Bristol Mercury IX engine. During 1937 the R.H.A.F. (E.B.A.) received two Mk 1, bought and offered by Mr.Sarpakis. These aircrafts were used for advanced training until 1940. Complete aircraft. The original model, created by Thicko Bielat and Morton (panel), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on; navlights added. Completely new R.H.A.F. About 7000+ downloads later, I decided it was time to update my flagship repaint--the Boeing 767-300 in the '2007 Colors' of Delta Airlines.The aircraft is in the config of a 767-332 with the GE engines [as was the original]. The paintjob features photoreal windows and tail. Everything else is handpainted (minus the logo)... Model features: Dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence. Drooping control surfaces when engines are shut off, pushback truck, RAT, opening doors, cargodoors, Flight attendant, opening cockpit window with animated flag, and many more.
