File Description:
The swept-wing Republic F-84F Thunderstreak evolved from the straight-wing F-84 Thunderjet. The "F" model incorporated such aerodynamic improvements as swept back wings, due to the success of the North American Aviation F-86 Sabre. It also featured improved tail and elevator surfaces, a smaller canopy and a redesigned windscreen. With these improvements, the F-84F was introduced in 1949 as a competitor to the F-86.
The prototype first flew on June 3, 1950, and deliveries began in 1954, primarily to the Tactical Air Command (TAC) as a ground support fighter bomber.
Armed with six 50-caliber M-3 aircraft machine guns, 24 5-inch rockets and 6,000 pounds of bombs.

This aircraft is the MD-82, which is one of several models in the range.
This aircraft features full animation, full lighting effects and reflective textures. A custom-deigned, photo-realistic panel with xml-gauges is also included. Four versions, painted in the colors of American Airlines, British Midland, Kulula.com and 1Time Airline, are provided.

| Cessna T303 Crusader v3 |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Aircraft - The Cessna 303, also called the Crusader, is a six-place light twin aircraft. First flown on February 14, 1978, it was originally designed as a four-seat twin-engined craft that would have competed with the Piper Seminole, Gulfstream American GA-7 Cougar, and Beech Duchess. After market demand for 4-place light twins declined, Cessna redesigned the aircraft as a six-place twin. The new model, designated the T303, began rolling off the production line for delivery in October of 1981. At the time it was the first all-new production twin built by Cessna in over a decade. Panel by Ray Lunning. This aircraft is version 3 created with FSDS2.10 by John B. Loney, Jr.

File Description:
A C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A (I-POLA, from the first construction batch of this entirely wooden construction seaplane), was converted into a landplane by mounting a fixed landing gear, in order to try breaking a distance record taking off from Cagliari-Elmas airport. The attempt was first delayed due to bad weather conditions, and later even canceled. So it was eventually converted back to its original seaplane configuration. This plane, powered by three American made Wright Cyclone, made its first flight in August 1936 and was transferred to Cagliari-Elmas airport during September 1936.
Original aircraft, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and navlights. Requires the previous installation of the C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A/C (V.01) package (506_ac01.zip) and the 2D panel enhancement (506c_pnl.ZIP). Created by Manuele Villa , December 2007. Installation instructions included.

Zappata, the first prototype of this entirely wooden construction seaplane, flown by test pilot Stoppani, did its maiden flight, powered by three American made Wright Cyclone, in August 1936 and gained immediately eight world records in speed and two in altitude in the seaplane category. Successive versions, powered by three Alfa Romeo 126 RC10 (later RC34), gained another 16 world records. These airplanes (A or C) were intended for commercial transport of 12/14 passengers, 25 of them were employed by 'Ala Littoria' Company on Mediterranean routes, the Royal Italian Air Force bought another 13 similar aircraft. During WWII all the civilian aircraft, acquired by Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force), were used in communication and SAR roles.

| AerMacchi C.205 VELTRO (Greyhound) |

Images related to this file:
File Description:
The Macchi C.205 (also known as MC.205,"MC" standing for "Macchi Castoldi") Veltro (Italian:Greyhound) was an Italian World War II fighter aircraft built by the Aeronautica Macchi.
The C.205 was a development of the earlier C.202 Folgore. With a top speed of some 400 mph and equipped with a pair of 20 mm cannon as well as 12.7 mm Breda machine guns, the Macchi C.205 Veltro was highly respected by Allied and Luftwaffe pilots alike. Regarded as the best Italian aircraft of World War II, in action it proved to be extremely effective, destroying a large number of Allied bombers and capable of successfully clashing on equal terms with such renowned fighters as the North American P-51D Mustang, but, although the C.205 was able to match the best Allied opponents in speed and manoeuvrability, it was introduced late in the conflict. Moreover, due to the poor Italian industrial capability of the time, only a small production run was delivered before the end of the war.
Italy's highest scoring ace, Adriano Visconti, achieved 11 of his 26 credited victories in the few weeks he was able to fly the Veltro, with the top scoring 205 Sergente Maggiore pilota Luigi Gorrini shooting down 14 enemy aircraft plus six damaged with the C.205.
VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa & Italianwings, Flight dynamics by Manuele Villa & Kikko Zanaboni. It also works (Tested), subject to some limitations, within FSX. By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, September 2012.
