The aircraft represented in this package is 61-2406 assigned to the 457th Tactical
Airlift Squadron (Tail Code "KA", a "blue tail") of the 483rd Tactical Airlift
Wing. The unit was based at Cam Ranh Bay AB, Republic of Vietnam from January 1967
to May 1972. These textures are intended for use with Alphasim's new C-7 Caribou package. Only the textures unique to the aircraft are included so you will need to have the
aircraft package installed first.

File Description:
Lockheed AC-130U Spectre gunship of the 919th Special Operations Wing, U.S. Air Force Reserve; "Azrael" (Arabic for Angel of Death), utilizing Mike Stone's C-130H aircraft; and painted in 32-bit textures. This aircraft saw extensive action in Southwest Asia in the 1991 Gulf War. This aircraft is a delight to fly, and is polygon-low enough to work nicely as an AI aircraft. Textures only, requires base pack available here on AVSIM or Mike Stone's website (www.pmstone.com).

Soviet Air Force MiG-23MF Flogger-G, "Blue-231", painted using Kazunori Ito's outstanding new MiG-23 model, available on www.simviation.com. This swing-wing aircraft was a mainstay of Soviet/Russian fighter forces in the 1970's through the 1990's, and is still in service with several countries. The aircraft is painted in 8-bit textures, and works pretty well for AI as well. This is textures only, you need Kazunori Ito's full aircraft to use.

The aircraft represented is an RB-66B (BB-426) of the 363rd Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, based at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. These textures are intended for use with the Alpha Simulations "B-66 Destroyer" payware aircraft package. If you don't have the Alphasim B-66 Destroyer and you like Cold War era aircraft you really should get a copy. It is well researched and designed for max realism with max enjoyment.
