As part of the merger with Continental, the pre-merger United Express aircraft are slowly being painted into the new globe merger livery. This particular aircraft, a Mesa CRJ700, was the first of many CRJ700s to receive the new livery. Just for fun I threw in an old Mesa CRJ-700 repaint in the battleship paint scheme. Painted on the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

File Description:
This V.748D (C/N 101) was built for CAA as VP-YND and first flew on Thursday, 14 June 1956. It was the first Viscount to visit Vnukovo, Moscow, USSR on 29 June 1956 and was sent to collect the British Industry delegation who had attended the Soviet Aviation day celebrations. R M A Mweru was passed on to Air Rhodesia when CAA was disolved in 1965. It was shot down by a 'Strella' heat seeking surface to air (SAM) missile after take off from Kariba, Rhodesia 12 February 1979. File Description:
CAA purchased their first Vickers Viscount 748D on 25th April 1956. A further four were delivered in the same year. The aircraft came equipped with external slipper tanks for long-range operations. In 1957 the Viscounts took over the international service to Europe from Vickers Vikings. All the Viscounts except VP-YNE passed on to Air Rhodesia when Central African Airways was disolved in 1965. This V.748D (C/N 99) was built for CAA as VP-YNB and first flew on Saturday, 5 May 1956 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Dorset, England powered by Rolls-Royce Dart 510 engines. This is a repaint for Wilco's CRJ 700 in US Airways Star Alliance livery. These textures fix the shoddy tail job I did in the first version. It is a complete texture set, so you don't need the previous version. You must have Wilco's CRJ package to use these textures. They should work in FSX, although they haven't been tested.
