We have 5 takeoffs in Russia and 5 in China. Snow flurries gets us started in our Concorde. Be prepared for some long haul hops. The A340 makes its second appearance! Leg 0642 starts off easy but the high altitude landing takes real-world skill. You’re at the controls so the decision is all yours! Tip – Finding a way to slow down should be a priority!

File Description:
We have 10 takeoffs in Japan. Look for Mt Fuji while cruising in your Baron. Also some bumpy air in the Learjet and snow showers on the last leg while flying the Boeing 737-500. The heavy showers in Leg 3 and Leg 4 keep things interested. With Japan almost done we can almost see Russia and Alaska. 767 takeoffs/landings and 142,904 miles flown so far!

We make stops in Indonesia (6), Malaysia (3) and Brunei. In the next pack we make it to the Philippine Islands. From there it’s onto Taiwan, China, Japan, Russia, Alaska, and Canada then back to the United States on our way to the finish line of the HRW Adventure 2004 in Chicago. 677 takeoffs/landings and 129,158 miles flown so far!

File Description:
We have 4 takeoffs in Taiwan and 6 in Japan. The Boeing 707 makes a brief return. A very short, tricky third leg will require you to stay focused or you will mix up airports. Listen carefully to ATC! A little rain along the way will spice things up. Hey, don’t be mad at me at what could be the longest taxi to takeoff in the HRW so far.
