We make stops in the Fiji Islands (4), Tonga (2), Niue, American Samoa, Samoa and Cook Islands. We are experiencing island hopping in the South Pacific. The scenery is just soothing to the senses. We make stops in Indonesia (6), Malaysia (3) and Brunei. In the next pack we make it to the Philippine Islands. From there it’s onto Taiwan, China, Japan, Russia, Alaska, and Canada then back to the United States on our way to the finish line of the HRW Adventure 2004 in Chicago. 677 takeoffs/landings and 129,158 miles flown so far!

Look for the first airport tower in a camper trailer in this HRW Adventure. Lots of good scenery and clear blue skies! Watch out for some cross winds on landings that could surprise you. We have 8 takeoffs in Japan and 2 in Korea. Some winter rain as we make some nice hops. On the last leg it starts out so innocently but can be fatal as you prepare to land. IFR anyone? File Description:
We have 4 takeoffs in Taiwan and 6 in Japan. The Boeing 707 makes a brief return. A very short, tricky third leg will require you to stay focused or you will mix up airports. Listen carefully to ATC! A little rain along the way will spice things up. Hey, don’t be mad at me at what could be the longest taxi to takeoff in the HRW so far.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 71

File Description:
We have 5 takeoffs in Russia and 5 in China. Snow flurries gets us started in our Concorde. Be prepared for some long haul hops. The A340 makes its second appearance! Can you taxi then takeoff in heavy dense fog? I did! Don’t forget to enjoy the scenery and the Aurora Borealis. We are making steady progress towards Taiwan and Japan in the upcoming packs.
