File Description:
The halo texture file changes several lights in Fs2004. This is a completely New Halo texture file. This texture has been re-done to provide more realistic features. Now the strobe at the runway casts a light reflection onto the ground. All lights have a realistic glow that the halo file can change. Landing lights now look as close to real as possible in Fs2004.

Halo texture

File Description:
This texture file changes the lights at the airport such as runway lights, taxi, center lines, and some lights to different aircraft. This file will not effect the landing light beam only the bulb shape and color. I feel this is the most realistic color and glow effect for this texture.

Landing Lights Enhancement

File Description:
In the most of the cases, FS2004 aircrafts landing and taxi lights make a "too" white halo on the ground but the aircraft light intensity is insuficient. This archive contains two more realistic replacement textures.

Lens flare addon

File Description:
New lense flare effect created by Eitan Daniel and modified by Vincent van Veen. This will improve the look of your lens flare, halo and corona. This file continues to build on the previous version (lensflare_version_3.zip not required) and improves it by a great deal. Especially the look and size of the sun have been improved. It's best used WITHOUT the sun glare effect.

Nick's LightFix

File Description:
The concept and the base textures for this package are from Mark Poole and his original light replacement releases. Mark's original Nav Light package has a really good concept and uses light textures which create sharp lens flairs or bursts. I found the lens flair in his packages to be a bit too large and out of scale for my display and taste. Also, I wanted to have an easy way to replace all the FS9 lights in one shot with little or no configuration file editing. With that in mind, this package was created. This release will automatically replace ALL the Flight Simulator aircraft and airport lights with more realistic ones along with better distance visuals of slower flashing radio tower/smoke stack and ground beacons. It also includes replacement lights in scale for the PMDG 737, 747 and for all Project Opensky aircraft offered on their site. It works automatically with Ultimate Traffic and other AI add-ons which use the default Microsoft aircraft lights. I added a diffused halo effect to Mark's original airport_lighting_v2 texture which gives a more realistic look in cloudy or weather conditions and enhances the dynamic directional brightness of the lights. In addition to the navigation lights, I have also created aircraft beacons and strobes which will also install automatically .
