Boeing McDonnell Douglas MD8X Sounds

File Description:
On August 5, 2006 I traveled back home from Guadalajara, Mexico to Las Vegas, Nevada. When I was in the airplane (MD87) I thought about all of you people and decided to make a soundpack for any MD8X aircraft. So here it is. This is my first soundpack. I recorded every interior sound and edited some exterior ones to make it sound realistic since I couldn't record the exterior. There are updates to come so if you find any problems or sounds that need updating e-mail me at Microchip Software V1.0 December 2, 2006

Wright R-3350 Sounds for the Douglas DC-7 Series

File Description:
These are sounds for the Wright R-3350 Double Wasp engines as installed in the Douglas DC-7 series, which achieve a new level of realism rarely seen before. Each of the four engines has separate directional sounds, and almost all sounds are in high quality and fully stereophonic. I engineered the stereo sounds with professional editing software with minimal phasing and minimal distortion or whatever it took to make it more attractive to searchers of sound. RPM engine sounds by Gary Jones, used with permission.

These are sounds for the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engines as installed in the Convair CV-240 series, which achieve a new level of realism rarely seen before. Each of the two engines has separate directional sounds, and almost all sounds are in high quality and fully stereophonic. I engineered the stereo sounds with professional editing software with minimal phasing and minimal distortion or whatever it took to make it more attractive to searchers of sound. The Convair sounds have a distinctive "whine", unique to the Convair engine installations.

Stereo Sound Fix for the DC-3

File Description:
Fixes the stereo separation of the default DC-3's internal engine sounds by using detailed stereo sound fields for each engine. New in Version 1.5: Essentially, you now get the default sounds on the high end for that rattling radial radiance, mixed in with some of Trev Morson's (Thanks!) DC-3 sounds to round up some roaring low frequencies. This applies to both the internal and external engine sounds. Extra care has been taken to keep clipping distortion and other annoying audio artifacts acceptably low. A new external stereo droning effect and internal stereo starter sounds have also been added. Naturally I've done some further fine tuning to the rest of the sounds.

Enjoy a fittingly luxurious tempered drone inside but powerful, expressive dynamics when viewed externally. -DESIGNED to work well with not only the default King Air but other add-on King Air aircraft too. -FEATURES propeller sounds that are realistically controlled by propeller RPM and operate independently from turbine speed, cruising sounds that better represent that harmonious 4-bladed drone, prop feathering sounds, improved reversing, detailed gear and startup sounds. The volumes of some sounds have been adjusted in this release. -Most sounds utilize sampling rates which exceed the usual 22 Khz, and feature meticulously crafted stereo sound fields.
