Painted for the 60th anniversary of the first flight across the atlantic, this stunningly-painted aircraft flew to the International Air Tatto at Greenham Common from Goose Bay in Canada. The RAF found a crew, by the names of Alcock & Browne (the original crew were Alcock & Brown - no e) to fly the trip. You will need nmai_f-4m_raf_traffic.zip from avsim.com to use these textures. Repaint texture for wonderful Cloud9 F104,Italian Air Force 53°Stormo-21°Gruppo 1996.
This aircraft was named The Last Starfighter because after 1996 the Tiger Meet 21°Gruppo exchanged his loved F104s for Tornado F3, so this was the very last Starfighter to attend a Tiger Meet. Very sad story. Requires the payware Cloud9 F104.

FS2004 Curtiss C46 VC And Failure Model, v2. For the C46 Curtiss Commando aircraft by Libardo Guzman Garcia, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson (GAC46V2.ZIP). This is my Version 2 and it supersedes my previous uploads (c46bflvc.zip, c46bflfix.zip, c46bfl_up.zip). It adds a virtual cockpit similar to the Buffalo Airways C46 cockpit as well as pilot induced and random failures/damages through gauges originally developed by Charles Owens for the DC3C (most failures) and by Robert Graf (carburetor icing and oil consumption) for the DC-6. These gentlemen together with Gunter Tesons RealEngine_v14 have really made flying piston aircraft a lot more interesting. The frequency of random failures can be adjusted between "never" and "certain" but you always have to watch the engine limitations, carburetor icing, and oil consumption.
Further gauges by other authors are used or have been modified or have been developed by me. Version 2 increases the number of failures (engine, fire, leaks, systems, equipment, instruments), and introduces an improved upper overhead panel, an abbreviated interactive checklist on the panel, and reduced braking in rain, snow and freezing rain. Version 1 is not required for Version 2. See the C46BFL ReadMe V2.txt for further details and credits.
