North American P-51D "Montana Miss"

File Description:
Repaint for the Wings of Power P-51D by Shockwave Productions depicting "Montana Miss," a restored Mustang owned by actor Tom Cruise. This aircraft has recently been repainted and renamed "Kiss Me Kate" in honor of Cruise's fiancee Katie Holmes. The Montana Miss scheme with its attractive nose art can continue to fly in the sim, though. By Dan Middleton.

Puzzle - Hawker P.1040, "Flight", 1949.

File Description:
In 1947 Hawker Aircraft designed the P.1040 jet interceptor. Although it was never accepted by the RAF it did become the Seahawk and the first jet fighter used by the Royal Navy. This 450-piece puzzle comes from the cover of a beautifully-preserved copy of "Flight" magazine, March 3rd. 1949. No additional files or downloads are needed - the puzzle runs straight from the file. A ReadMe with the simple instructions is included.

P-51D 1965 Transcontinental Trophy Dash

File Description:
This is Wayne Adams' P-51D racer that placed 3rd in the 1965 Harold's Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash from Florida to Reno. Adams placed 3rd in 1965 behind Clay Lacy, but had finished first in 1964. What slowed Adams down was the fact that he was laden down with fuel and flew non-stop, rather than making the fuel stops.

P-51D ZK-PLI "Miss Torque"

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-51D. This Mustang never saw combat during the second world war, and passed through the National guard after the war, before being sold to private pilots. She flew as ZK-PLI "Miss Torque" in New Zealand with the Alpine Fighter Collection between 1993 and 2003 before being sold and it returned to the USA. She is now flying with Jack Croul in a completely bare, factory fresh look. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.

File Description:
P-51D-20 #39 "Miss Cathie" was the aircraft flown by Lt David E. Ambrose of the 317th FS, 325th FG, based in Lesina, Italy. He scored his second kill in this aircraft on 19 january 1945. Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.
