TRIP Linhas Aéreas (Transporte Aéreo Regional do Interior Paulista) is an airline based in Campinas, Brazil. The airline was established in 1998 with two Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia and was wholly owned by the Caprioli Group until November 2006, when Águia Branca Group (Chieppe family) bought 49% of its capital. On January 25th, 2007 TRIP has placed an order for seven new ATR 72-500s with options for a further five of the twin turboprops, this deal is its first new ATR order, and the first for the ATR 72-500 in Brazil. Enjoy flying over Brazil!

American Airlines 747-SP31 repaint for the Project Open Sky 747SP v4 series. American purchased two SP's from TWA. The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now. These liveries are familiar to me as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group. The metal textures for this repaint were created by Yannick Charland, my colleague from the Historic Jetliners Group. Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints.
This texture represents "Honky Tonk Sal" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.
"Honky Tonk Sal" assigned to the 548th squadron. This aircraft was in service from 1943-11-19 to 1944-03-15, which then she was salvaged.
