For FSX users make sure you have UNCHECKED "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX to make any FS9-based model visible during the day!

FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture.

| South African Airways Douglas DC-3 'Klapperkop' |

File Description:
Based on original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in South African Airways livery requires the base R4D-6 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. Installation instructions are included. "Klapperkop" was manufactured in 1943 as a C-47. She became part of the 'South African Airways Historic Flight' in 1991, and has undertaken numerous all-inclusive package tours to various destinations, including game lodges in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, as well as trips to the Victoria Falls. The aircraft seats a total of 24 passengers in a business class configuration, and up to four crew members. By Mark Beaumont.

This are textures only, You need to download and install DC4_V21.ZIP by J. B. Kristensen!
These textures decipt C-FGNI (c/n 10389) originally delivered August 1944 as a C-54A to the USAAF. Later served with American AL and US Overseas and went 1969 to Canada. After flying with Great Northern and Eldorado she became member of the Air North fleet in 1988 as "Yukon Trader". Her career ended tragically august 14. 1996 as she crashed shortly after t/o from Bronson Creek mine strip, BC.

Painted in 32 bit high qualiy textures to match the real colors of the real plane.

File Description:
Repaint of the Project AI Douglas DC-8-55F in LAC Lignes Aeriennes Congolaises colours. This aircraft was trapped by a volcanic eruption and a lava flow that blocked access to the runway. It was maintained in flyable condition for a long time. It is unknown to me if it has resumed flying but it has a flight plan in Ultimate Traffic and so is virtually flying again at the very least. Textures only, original model available from Project AI.

N683BU is based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Bush Flying Unlimited livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. This is a repaint of the Cargo model. Installation instructions are included. I wish to thank Jan Visser and MAAM-SIM for the exceptionally fine model and Mark Beaumont for his repainting templates.
