Wardair Canada Boeing 747-211B

File Description:
Boeing 747-211B in Wardair Canada livery, registration C-GXRA; a 1980's Canadian charter airline. This aircraft utilizes Project Opensky's 747-200v3 model, with maximum animation and features, as usual, another fine addition to their work. I was happy to do this paint as a fan request, one of many. This aircraft is repainted in 32-bit reflective, non-mipped textures for no blur and polished metal shine. Aircraft and base textures by Project Opensky.

FS2004 Scenery--Goose Bay Canadian Forces Base and US Air Base. Goose Bay Canadian Forces Base and US Air Base (CYYR), Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, 1955-62.

File Description:
Goose Bay Canadian Forces Base and US Air Base (CYYR), Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, 1955-62. Originally built to facilitate the transport of US aircraft to Europe during the Second World War, during the Cold War Goose Bay was a base of major importance. Like nearby Gander it was a vital refuelling point for transatlantic crossings, but also along with the recently released Ernest Harmon Air Base (CYJT) an important part of the defences against the threat of Soviet bombers carrying muclear weapons attacking the USA via the North Pole. F-89 Scorpions and then F-102 Delta Daggers were based there, and this download includes F-89s especially made for this scenery by David Wooster. Flight plans are provided for 1955, 1957, 1959 and 1962, doing much to recreate this significant Cold War base as it really was; many of the aircraft which passed through Goose at that time are provided for. This file is an update to the scenery issued in October 2021, made necessary by the discovery of new information as a result of further historical research. There have also been changes to the ADE and traffic files intended to improve the performance of both, and to the navaids too. Instructions are included for those installing from scratch and those updating our previous version, and there have been improvements to the clarity of the instructions for the downloading and installation of the ai aircraft. There will be no further updates.

B-29 "Joltin' Josie"

File Description:
A repaint of the Wings of Power B-29 that represents "Joltin’ Josie" of the 498th Bomb Group, 873rd Bomb Squadron. This was the first B-29 to arrive in the Pacific theatre in 1944. After 24 successful missions, "Josie" crashed shortly after takeoff on April 1, 1945. Textures only for the payware Wings of Power B-29. Texture blanks by David Green. Repaint by Eric Bramhall.

MelJet Air Pacific 'Island of Vanua Levu' Boeing 747-400

File Description:
Boeing 747-400 of Air Pacific, using Melvin Rafi's incredible 747-400 aircraft; registration #DQ-FJK "Island of Vanua Levu". This is a very detailed model, and is nothing less than the best of what Meljet offers, with all of the standard animation features for a simmer's visual delight; works well in FS2002 and FS2004. Repaint done with 32-bit reflective textures. Original aircraft by Melvin Rafi.

A380 Australian Ice Fedex Cathay

File Description:
Textures only, Repaints for Mike Stone's A380 (http://www.pmstone.com/), in Iceland Airlines, fictional Fedex (green), Australian Airlines, and a fictional style livery for Cathay Pacific. Repaints by Rick "RotorRick" Deckard [email protected], using paints by Mike Pearson and Garry KRNO (obtained permission) as templates. Repaints are in a mixture of DXT3 and 8 bit formats, optimized for low end computers with little compromise on visual quality.

Air Vanuatu - Winter 2005

File Description:
Air Vanuatu based out of Port Vila, is the national airline of Vanuatu and operates flights to Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. They also have a codeshare agreement with Qantas and Air Pacific, the latter operating their Port Vila to Nadi route. With the failure of Vanair, Vanuatu's domestic operator, Air Vanuatu have an uncertain future ahead of them but for now they're soaring high.
