Cathay Pacific Cargo 'Silver Bullet' Project Opensky 747-400/BCF V4. Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trailing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. This is a repaint of the excellent Project Airbus A320-214 (WL), in Cebu Pacific Air livery, RP-C4107. Model included. The textures are saved in 32 bit format for quality graphics. Shine effect. Night textures by Adam Hamada. Contains accurate model with details such as: opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operable control surfaces, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modelled on spoilers, landing gear doors and many more. Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-400 with RR engines. This file contains only textures. The textures are in 32-bit for a better quality. The belly of the aircraft is made reflective, so the reflective model is recommended for this repaint. It also works fine with the non-reflective model. The AI Aardvark 747-400 RR model is required. To download the AIA B744 model, just search for ai744upr.zip.

From the early 1980s to the late 1990s the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada operated a few Canadian Vickers Canso A aircraft in it's aerial fire suppression fleet.(This aircraft is for the most part an equivalent to the United States Navy's Consolidated PBY5A). This is a repaint of "Tanker 7" which has been beautifully restored and now operated by Plane Sailing Air Displays Limited on behalf of Catalina Aircraft Limited.
