File Description:
This is a tutorial for the PMDG 747-400 PAX simulated aircraft. The flight covered is from Heathrow London, to Los Angeles International. The tutorial covers and explains all aspects of this flight from fuel preparation, flight plan preparation, to pre-flight checks and setup, flying, cruising, descending, holding, approach, landing and shutting down. Those aspects that are not covered in detail but are relevant to a long haul flight of this kind are mentioned and also explained. I have tried to be as comprehensive with my illustration and descriptions as possible, this is more of a walkthrough than a switch pressing instruction manual, as a result a great deal of explaination is included. The tutorial is 211 pages, with many colour images, so please be aware of this if you decide to print.

File Description:
This file fixes the GE engine sound problem for the PMDG 747 with the Britannic Livery.You can either replace the original readme with this one and follow the instructions or just open the .cfg file and change 'sound=GE' to 'sound=' (i.e remove the GE)

Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. Swissair was the national airline of Switzerland between its founding in 1931 and bankruptcy in 2002.
As I was always impressed by this oldschool livery that they also used on their MD11's, and the fact that Swissair flew B747-200/B747-300 in the past, i decided to have a go at bringing the Swissair oldschool colors to the iFly 747v2, for all Swissair fans. Textures only, for the payware iFly 747v2 for FS9/FS2004.

N127UA was the first 747 to be painted into the new United merger livery. However this is not the first time a 747 wore this livery; Continental had a few classic 747s painted into their "new" livery in 1991. United's 747s mainly fly long-haul international routes to Asia, with an occasional route to Europe. Painted on the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

Re-upload. When United first received their first few 747-400s in the 1980's, they were painted in this livery. This example is N184UA, typically flying from hubs in Chicago or San Francisco to many Asian destinations. I was not satisfied with my previous repaint, so here is version 2, remade with my own new paintkit from the ground up for the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

PMDG B747-400 Rolls Royce Engines fictional livery of Yugoslav Airlines (from '80's), with registration YU-PI. We are trying to keep spirit of Yugoslav Airlines alive, so few friends of mine, founded JAT Classic VA: http://www.jatclassic.com I fly for that VA and B744 is one of my favorite aircrafts, so I decided to create my first repaint. I gave it name by world's famous scientist- Nikola Tesla who was born in YU. Now you can have my FIRST REPAINT. Enjoy it!
