File Description:
I have discovered that one of my sound files had some atc chatter in the background heard on the exterior while spooling up. Although it's not very noticable, I'm releasing this update to get rid of the problem completely so this sound should completely disappear. This patch fixes the chatter issue and updates the actual transitional sound from the idle to the whine on the exterior. This fix requires the base soundset, enjoy the updated sounds!!!

| Easy Terrain Editing Tutorial |

File Description:
Welcome to this tutorial about modifying terrain data. This tutorial will show you a short and easy way to modify the terrain to get a more realistic look in MS Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004. The area with this workshop is the island Ibiza in the West Mediterranean Sea with its small neighbor island Formentera. The modifications are based on the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data products, available for download.
Everything needed is explained here, step by step and kept as simple as possible. You will work with SRTM To BGL v1.04 (by Matthew Styles, thank you Matthew) and SRTMFill (by 3dnature) - both tools are freeware and available for dowload.

The panel directly integrates the freeware CIVA Delco INS unit (not required, available separately), Ernie Alston's ISG FMS gauges and SquawkBox. Optional integration for the Kittyhawk/FFX models, and optional configuration included for the RealityXP WX-500 radar (available separately). File Description:
This aircraft was designed as an AI model with 7 level of detail model (LODs), and not as "flyable" aircraft. As the 'varks used to say, "it's meant to only be flown by very experienced AI pilots".
There are sixteen models in this package showing aircraft with/without astrodome (the "C54" vs "DC4" variants), with/without weather radar, with long/short exhaust pipes and with/without wing decals.These models are NOT compatible with my previous DC-4 model releases. The fuselage and engine nacelles have been extensively reworked. Re-doing the existing repaints in well worth the effort :)

Always wanted to return to your favourite local Airport from anywhere in the world? simply - with no fuss? Look no Further.
Start at your Designated Airport, [in this case London Gatwick,Innsbruck,Dublin or Edinburgh in a 737], then Goto any Airport! - via the FS9 World menu and return to the Original Designated Airport - every time! - By Just turning the GPS/nav switch to GPS and Flight Director and autothrottle on whilst still on the ground.Click on the Autopilot and Nav Hold switch once above 1000ft - thats it !! . Set Weather as required and dont forget Altitude and Speed in autopilot and away you go. Use the FS9 ATC as You Travel, call into designated Airport when close and receive the curent ATIS and Runway approach in use.
HAVE FUN.
(This is different to the great circle direct routes that you can programme into the very good FS9 GPS - each and every time you start from a new airport).
As A bonus you can also use the designated flight files provided to take of and circle your Airport,using autopilot again with GPS/nav switch on gps setting and nav hold switch on. This is a good way to observe the airfield and your aircraft especially from tower view - set tower position using map window and pointing and dragging tower icon also set the tower altitude.Some Example flights worded "AJT Circuit of......." are also enclosed.- these particular flights can make good moving screen savers!

The files included address and fix video screen 'wash-out' issues on impact when using a high quality video adapter and/or when the effects quality slider in the simulator is set to maximum. It also fixes "wake visually renders above the water level when operating seaplanes or other water type aircraft." New water crash effects added. Improved frame rates with this release will allow those with slower video adapters to use higher effects detail settings. FS2004 Gauge: Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums (RVSM). This small gauge with a scrollable window is designed to give quick reference to all authorized VFR and IFR altitudes (to FL 590) based on the track of an aircraft. It also displays vertical separation requirements at each altitude. Magnetic tracks are monitored and and the active sector is indicated inside the West/East sector windows. The gauge is simple in operation with only two scroll buttons. The display screen is laid out to present all data in an understandable manner and to retain readability even at small gauge sizes.
