This is a repaint of the SMS Overland 747-400W aircraft in the QANTAS livery for FS9(2004). This is a TEXTURES ONLY file and the SMS Boeing 747-400 model is required to install these textures. This paint has been exstensively in FS9 but not in FSX. While I appreciate that there are many QANTAS paints available, it seems as though only a few are available for the SMS planes. While this is a freeware package, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is it to be uploaded to the FLYAWAY site OR displayed in the FLYAWAY FORUMS. Should you wish to post screen shots of this plane on any other site, please give credit to me as the painter. Should you have any problems with this file or have any questions, please contact me via my email which is in the ReadMe file.

File Description:
This tool for Microsoft Flight Simulator provides a better random failures experience when you fly some aircrafts. Aircraft like PMDG 747, 737, etc has very limited random failure probability that when you need to experience the random failure, you need to manually (READ: intentionally) arm the random failure. This always results in the "anticipated" feeling that the failure has been armed and it's almost sure something wrong is going to happen soon to the aircraft. This "anticipated" feeling is not good and kills the true realism of flying.
This tool solves the problem. Now you no longer need to manually (READ: intentionally) arm the random failure by yourself. This tool will arm the failure for you without you even know it. This provides the feeling that anything could still happen to the aircraft (so you still need to watch those instruments, standby with plan B, etc) but without the "anticipated" feeling. Because you'll never know whether it's armed or not.

Also this repaint is only for FS2004, Reflection Studio's 9 does NOT support Flight Simulator X, we also do not accept requests. We have many liveries in development already. Note that if you read the ReadMe and the PDF file you'll notice that there are instructions on how to install this aircraft to your Flight Simulator. We have tested this livery on two computers of different types running FS2004 so it works perfectly. Using passenger window views brings simming to life. This is my 4th installment on my windows series, I called it 'Windows RB!' (Sorry Bill). These can be used on any 747-400, MD11 or Airbus A330/340 aircraft. You must have a panel that allows left and right viewing. Simply replace 'L' and 'R' bmp's with these.
