File Description:
This package comprises four separate flight-plans covering the scheduled Flying Tiger Line's service #565 from New York to Milwaukee as at 1st. May 1955. The aircraft used on Flight #565 was the Curtiss C-46. All the flights are operated under IFR rules as they were carried during the hours of darkness, this particular flight starting from Newark at 23:30 EDT and ending at Milwaukee at 09:20 CST.
To make the most from this package you should download and install the Flying Tigers Curtiss C-46 model for Flight Simulator 2004 that has been created by J.R. Lucariny and Wayne Tudor and made available just before Easter, 2006. Search for ftl_c-46.zip

This is repaint of Curtiss C-46 Commando of ROKAF. First introduced to ROKAF in 1955. ROKAF C-46s were used for various purpose. Airlift, Airborne Transport, Search and Rescue, counterespionage operation, and Troop Transport to Vietnam during 1960s. Retired from ROKAF in 1978. You'll Need Calclassic's C-46 to use this repaint.

Lockheed L-1049E-55-102 (c/n 4572) 'N5172V' was delivered on April 1955 to Northwest Orient Airlines and was used until 1957. Based on original textures by Manfred Jahn, this texture set requires the great L-1049G Super Constellation package available in the Avsim file library (l1049g.zip). Installation instructions are included.

This is repaint of Republic of Korea Air force Lockheed T-33A for Massimo Taccoli's Lockheed T-33A. First T-33 was introduced to ROKAF in 1955 and used as Trainer and fighter jet until introduction of F-5. Used as Trainer until 1992. You'll Need Massimo Taccoli's Lockheed T-33A to use this repaint.

This is a repaint of the Finnish Air force vampire.
The Model is made by alphasim. It can be found at: alphasim.co.uk
The repaint represents an old Vampire T.55 trainer used by the Finnish Air Force 1955-1965. This aircraft is preserved at Finnish Air Force aviation museum.

In June 2005 it will be the 50th anniversary of the Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer's first flight.
This repaint shows the plane in the factory's prototype paint scheme.
Registrated G-ANTP it took off from the runway at Prestwick on 25th of June, 1955.
This is a repaint only, Mike Stone's Twin Pin is needed to see the result.

| Flying Tiger Line - Flight #152 - Los Angeles to New York, May 1955 |

File Description:
Three separate IFR flight-plans covering the scheduled Flying Tiger Lines service #152 from Los Angeles to New York as at 1st. May 1955. The aircraft used on "Daybreaker" Flight #152 was the Douglas DC-6A. This particular flight commences in Los Angeles at 23:00 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), arrives in Chicago at 07:15 Central Daylight Time (CDT) the next morning, departs Chicago at 08:30 CDT, arrives in Detroit (Willow Run) at 09:45 Eastern Standard Time (EST), departs Detroit at 11:00 EST and finally arrives in New York (Newark) at 14:10 EDT. Talk about a confusion of timezones! To make the most from this package you should download and install the CalClassic DC-6B model and also the Flying Tiger Lines livery created by Wayne Tudor. The latter is available from www.avsim.com and is file ftl_dc6a.zip. The aircraft itself is available from www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm. Note that it must be a small-spinner model, not the aircraft with the larger streamlined spinners.

This is repaint of Republic of Korea Airforce 1980s Camoflage F-86E for "SectionF8 F-86E/F". ROKAF Operated this F-86 since 1955. F-86 Series have been used as Fighter and Ground attacker. ROKAF Sabres have retired from the line during early 1990s when F-16s were active in ROKAF. You'll need Section F8 F-86E/F to use this repaint.

File Description:
Previously the Mamba test bed G-AHXU/VX231, this airframe was passed on to Alvis at Coventry to test both the Leonides Major engine and nacelle for the then forthcoming HPR3 Herald. First flown at Woodley in this format on 15th March 1955, it eventually went to Armstrong Siddeley for further test work but was wfu and scrapped in October 1959 at Bitteswell.
