These are textures only to fix the "light-green" colour in the right blue one! Also fixed is the nose, no longer black, now in airline colours. This is a repaint of Overland's MD-11 in American Airlines livery. Please note that these are the textures only, you will need the model in order to use. This version fixes a problem with the colors being inverted in the logo placed on the right side of the rudder/vert stab. Apologies for the inconvenience caused to those whole D/L'ed the previous version.

Repaint of Simmer's Sky MD 11 v2 (Overland.co) in Martinair New Colors scheme, registered PH-MCP. Fuselage in 32 bits format, rest of textures in DX3 format. All textures are handpainted. Included alpha for reflection. Modified light textures to switch the right lights when landing lights are activated. This zipfile only contains the texture files. This livery will only work for the PMDG MD-11 (FS9 Version). It includes both engine models. This was a request you can read about and see picture here: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=268317&hl=guiness
I did a lot of work on this and think I did some things with the alpha channels that no one has yet tried. There are optional tail sets that you may like as well included in the zip. I tried to put a small taste of a bar theme by also puting neon on the tail engine that will only show when the lights are on (Night is best). Hope you enjoy! This works for both FS9 and FSX. Tested in FSX. FS9 model used.
For FSX users make sure you have UNCHECKED "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX to make any FS9-based model visible during the day!
Texture quality; FSX Native: DDS DXT5 with alpha. FS9 Native: BMP DXT3 with alpha.
FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture.
Custom Light Map. Custom Shadows, Highs, Weathering as usual...
Included repaint is for the following model; AI_MD11_UTT from United Traffic Team
Model is available on AVSIM.
You need the basekit for this to work!!
Do make sure you copy the texture folder(s) in the respective folder.
